The same statue contributed to broncos and eels trys recently .
Today's game free to air so maybe more actually watched . Normally the one who go on
just "forum form " usually pick AJ as center as first picked each week

Not a Brooks fan these days but you are right. Kepoa is not mobile enough to play out wide in the 4. Neither was Brooks fault. There is not much between the ears of Kepoa unfortunately. Needs a haircut so he can see what is going on around him. Anybody who reckons Tupou is fast should have another look at todays game. Elusive yes, fast not likely.

1st try got caught in a 5 on 2. AJ delayed and managed to grab ol'akatu. Then Brooks and Papli'i jumped on top and neither could lock up the ball. Actually brooks or papali'i's fault.

2nd try. statue but L. Brooks got sucked in by DCE
 
I was really happy with the forwards. It's a great pack. If we'd had an actual million dollar halfback we would have won three or four games this year.

Luke needs to make sure he saves his cash because he will never see a paypacket anything like this again.

Naden wouldn’t have missed that tackle.

All in all I thought it was a reasonably good performance with a few key errors. Brooks catches that ball towards the end and we win.
We’re just lacking leadership in the halves. That’s it. With a better-performing halfback we’d have more points in us.

I hope Brooks can get there but seems unlikely. Wakeham looks like he’s playing timid too. It’s all mental in my opinion.

When we were ahead he had three sets to ice it...each time he was clueless. Literally, clueless. Api had to basically take over.

We are playing footy with a 7 with NO IQ at all. None.

He can run in open play, and that is it.

18 months since he had a win as a 7.

18....think about it...18....months.

This season is gone and so is the future until he is gone.

And bolt Benji on the back end for 3 years who Pascoe said about “we didn’t know if Benji could coach when we gave him the contract”. That is malpractice and should have seen Justin go.
 
I understand he is the whipping boy here but Brooks was far from the problem today. In fact he was one of a very small handful of players actually able to create something. The “attacking” structure created by the coaching stuff is the problem. We play like an under 10’s side.

The reality is there are no clear cut answers, this club is just cursed.

I disagree entirely. If you want your team to be rooted then our halves are doing just fine.
