Well I’m thinking there will be a letdown after that so don’t be surprised if Penrith put 50 or more on us next week.
If Manly weren’t there for the taking then I’m not here, but 4 crucial errors ( again) cruelled us in the last 15 minutes.
I just don’t think we remember how to win.
More frustration !!!

I understand he is the whipping boy here but Brooks was far from the problem today. In fact he was one of a very small handful of players actually able to create something. The “attacking” structure created by the coaching stuff is the problem. We play like an under 10’s side.

The reality is there are no clear cut answers, this club is just cursed.

Probably right.

Every one if our games have been winnable. Not because we were better, but because the opposition played their worst against us.

And we still couldn't get it done.

You know the embarrassing thing. Saints keep on hearing how they are going to be our first win. You know they are going to be up for that game.

Manly were ordinary , as I expected after a physical game last week, and whilst we did play a little better there is still no real fluency.
Not sure I’d be rushing after Schuster. He didn’t excite me.
And boy o boy didn’t super man Tapou come back to Earth. Maybe read too much of his skill.
The kid did ok at one and there are promising signs ahead but we just don’t have the flair/ direction required at 6/7.

It's not just the halves. That is the easy target but I don't think it's fair. Brooks has been creating opportunities the past 2 games. Wakeham is a reserve grade half.

Our forwards were good this week especially Stef.

I honestly don't feel like blaming anyone. Bula, Tupou and even Staines are learning and they could be really good for us. If we get a lot more out of them we'll improve a lot.

When it all comes down to a match winning play, like that kick to Saab, right on the money, we just don't have it. We're struggling with regulation numbers in the backline sweeps let alone pinpoint kicks or cut out passes.
