I know it 0-7 but there are some positives, we continue to win field position and possession stats. The forwards make great meters. Api needs help, this season is a right off but if we can jag a decent 6/7 for 24 we can play finals again. We have only been flogged once, there is a great crop of juniors coming through. I think the tide will turn 24/25

That should add some punch out wide as well as give us cover in the halves.

Talau, Brooks, Wakeham, Laurie moved on.

Back 3 is sorted. Bula, Toupou and staines if he wants to stay. Just need a quality centre

I feel like this forum has been obsessed with Vlokman since he scored a try against our nsw cup side in a trial 3 years ago. Has anyone actually watched him since then? He's like the 5th choice half at the warriors and has been average in nsw cup. Wakeham is a better half then him atm

I assume it's another irrational anti-Brooks argument. If Brooks is the sole reason for the Tigers being terrible then if we just swap our international and Dally M second rower for a reserve grader we'll turn it all around.

I understand we keep losing and people are going crazy but come on.

C'mon it's not just Brooks...we've had a crap and unsettled team for 10 years.
Cleary had him playing well and if he hadn't driven the bus over a cliff Brooks and the Team would be playing much better imo.

We already offered massive overs. He just didn't want to be here. Imagine what the team harmony would be like if we offered him even more and he wasn't in form.

Was a Roosters junior. I believe he may have played Australian Schoolboys rugby. Tore us up in a trial game 2 or 3 years ago when he was 18/19. I’ve haven’t kept too much of on eye on him since then.

Todd if you were handing out the contract money to Mitch Moses so that he couldn't refuse the offer, what would that amount of $$$$ have been?

Without knowing what everyone else is paid that's impossible to answer.
But it would've been the maximum legal number possible even if that meant having a minimum wage McDonalds worker like Wakeham or Smith outside him for the next couple of years. He would've been the difference maker.
As for team harmony, winning gets you a good load of harmony.

Can we swap Brooks with the Chad? If Payten coached him in the U20s, maybe he's the man to turn him around? Even if he's not, I'm sure he'd love to try.
On a serious note: the Warriors does seem to be our likely source of a 7. Aussies wanting to move back.

Don't see us having many NRL options with Flanagan prob the only one available.

My call would be too see which two of those 5 you can get and make it happen and ship Brooks off to Super League asap this week

Agree the biggest point scorer and main playmaker in the biggest point scoring team in the Nsw cup interests me . Jumping to Nrl level must have some appeal .Dont know his personal side like based in NZ or OZ ?

For those mentioning signing Kurt Falls and those disappointed we let Hastings go, I’m pretty sure the Bulldogs would be happy to offload Kyle Flanagan ASAP if we wanted him and he plays that structured style of game.
I’m far from sold on Kyle Flanagan being a decent quality NRL player, but at the same time he’s got a far better resume than most halves his age.
Just making the point he’s one we could easily get straight away if we purely want a structured type of halfback.

He would be an upgrade on Brooks no doubt, plus he is a goal kicker, I would hope we could get better, but he would do if we can't
