Papali’i played a few games at 13 at Parramatta and went ok, he can use the ball reasonably well.
If someone who runs the ball powerfully like Josh Curran was recruited, Papali’i or Bateman could slot into 13.
On Jake Averillo, he’s a good young player I actually think he’s best as a fullback.
But as a centre is he really any better than someone such as Aaron Schoup who currently can’t get in the top 17 at the Titans, yet starred and got Man of the Match in his first game as an edge back rower in the Qld Cup. He’s a powerful ball runner and very quick.

More then that.
Mitchell Pearce, that was hugely brutal. If he comes back to the Chooks I will laugh.
Momo, came begging to go back after doing reasonably at Penrith.

I don't get the Chooks at all. they drop players like they are nothign yet get extreme loyality.

Can someone explain our Bench?

It's like all our great forwards are on the field and players like Alex and Joe O who are Toilers don't start.
I would be moving Klemmer, Pole or someone to the bench and bring them in the game when people start getting tired. Twal, Joe O both seem like players who could play 80 minutes and absorb a bit letting Paps or Klemmer or someone running hard lines against a tired opposition pack.

It’s rumoured Pearce is asking in excess of 500k to come back and play for us, leave him in France if he expects that type of money at his age.

On current form Twal is going great for us off the bench. He would make any top 17 in the entire NRL on current form.
Seyfarth is a much better player than many give him credit for. He too will end up leaving and becoming a much improved and valued player at a rival NRL club if we don’t start using him as a regular in our top 17.
I love Joffa as a player as well. He’s whole hearted, never drops the ball and very rarely misses a tackle, but I’m not sure he offers us the power running forward we ideally need off the bench.

I don’t want Junior Junior, but 500g is what some reserve grade 7s get. It all about demand and supply. I would imagine there would be at least three clubs willing to pay 500g for a year or two max for Junior junior

It’s a well run club. That’s a culture for tigers to aspire to. Communication and execution of expectations and standards. White anting has little power because there is stability at all levels from the board down.
