There is no doubt having Brooks as the halfback has been a major issue in bringing any player to the Tigers. Especially outside backs or a halves partner who know they will get zero ball service, zero attacking bombs, zero attacking grubbers. No one besides a pension contract would even consider coming to the Tigers as its an instant career killer getting horrible stats for the year off Brooks' service.

I’m not sure he has a vision , at this stage. He’s learning the hardest lesson in management, motivating people to achieve the dream.
It’s an art that needs more than 6 months.

Well I guess potential recruits are saying, this guy continually underperforms yet is lauded by all at the WT. Never gets dropped or reprimanded.
Continually built up by those around him in case he may have a breakdown.
He cops bad reviews coz that’s what he deserves, most of the time.
Recruits must say, what a crazy, mixed up footy club, and they’d be right.
Where will it all end !!!

If his vision isn’t winning the comp and he isn’t able to tell potential recruits how they will play a key role on making that happen he shouldn’t be involved with coaching. It’s not rocket science.
 
LB has already agreed to terms with the club

They wanted to announce it at the last bye but we hadn’t won any games and there was too much pressure on admin

Listen to Sheens today - he said Brooks is here next year - and then had to back track and said it would be done this bye

They wouldn’t have been able to stop LB from going to newy if they didn’t promise him a deal … it’s logical

Which is why I wanted us to lose 10 games in a row

I said this would happen

We win 2 games and now they have an excuse to make his extension official

The best thing is if we lose tomorrow that we get absolutely hammered and brooks plays terrible … only that might stop an extension … or at worst when things don’t work out will make people say we were wrong for extending a player when we were coming last

Mate - if you can't tell by now that Brooks bashers want us to lose you just aren't getting it. I honestly reckon there are a bunch of posters on here who just thrive on Brooks bashing. It's all they are here for.

On the contrary, the Brooks haters love the team and want the Tigers to win, Brooks in the team isnt going to do that. The Brooks simps on the other hand want a proven losing turd being named over the Tigers wining.
