Not many are worthy of a 10 year, blessed, unquestioned dream run of never being dropped, debated or having any implemented expectation of success. Why not try and develop Wakeham? He is trying and is improving gradually.

TodayWhen did Johnson say no?
This week… not interested in relocating againWhen did Johnson say no?
Totally. Fully support giving him the rest of the year but don't think he'll get to where we need our number 7 (hope im wrong). Why not try and develop Wakeham? He is trying and is improving gradually.
Wakeham appears a much more confident player than Madden.Always hard to guess when you don't have access to the books, but with talk of us offering moses 1.2m, i'm guessing the plan then was to have moses + douiehi as our halves. We now need two halves as Douiehi is out all of next year. Guessing it means we have about 1.2m for both halves. 500 for brooks + 700 for the other one? Makes more sense as to why they're moving Joffa on to save that money if the above guesses are correct imo as we still defs need some more strike in the backs.
Regardless, I'd be re-signing wakeham as a back-up (and i think he is better than madden too...)
I was under the impression we signed one of the best three hookers in the game less than a year ago but I guess I must have dreamed that. The issue is no matter how much overs money we are offering, NO player wants to join us.
IMO We had the 2nd best recruitment for 2023 of any club. (Dolphins aside) A top half signing is a different story though. Supply v DemandI was under the impression we signed one of the best three hookers in the game less than a year ago but I guess I must have dreamed that.
Would rather sign lolohea than metcalf7 Te Maire Martin

Goodbye Brooks.
The only similar story I can remember is that when Haumole was younger he was with a manly junior when they got dropped off and the manly coaching staff basically just let him train with themWasn't there some story about some player bringing their mate to training and name dropping them to management to get them a deal?
Don't any of our players have friends that are actually first grade quality ?
Pull some strings?
Thanks Jack.Waiting for the Tigers to sign a marquee halfback is like leaving the porch light on for Harold Holt.
I don’t, we should be doing everything we can to sign a ball player organiser 7 asap mid year transfer and still try for Hunt on a 2-3 year deal, or the next best we can get.Totally. Fully support giving him the rest of the year but don't think he'll get to where we need our number 7 (hope im wrong).
Madden looks overawed and out of his depth and looks a lot worse then his last few games here in which I thought he was starting to turn the corner, rather slowly like a ocean liner, but you could see some improvement. His 2 games for them have been average.Wakeham appears a much more confident player than Madden.
I think Madden looked terrible in both games he's started in for the Broncos.
Think Wakeham has another gear but is playing the game plan he's been told to play.
Never debated? I’m not sure if you’ve ever been on the wests tigers forum but (apparently) every thread there is a debate about Brooks 😂Not many are worthy of a 10 year, blessed, unquestioned dream run of never being dropped, debated or having any implemented expectation of success.
So you reckon Te is the answer? I haven’t seen either of them play much this year, how’s he going? Is he the organiser 7 we need to make the top 4?7 Te Maire Martin
