Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

How they saw him as an improvement on Potter I will never know.

They didn't.....

You might be forgetting the bit where the club legend / captain and Current Coach rubbished Potter to the media and it came out
- Making that situation untenable....

I'm not a fan of JT at all, But he was a dead man walking coming in on the back of a culture where the senior members of the playing group had overthrown the 2 previous coaches in as many years.

That's a good point.

As far as Taylor was concerned, it was kill or be killed when it came to Farah.

Look, TMM would have been a good recruit, 5 years ago. He was a Tigers Junior we punted and I don't see that experience or lift in bringing him back.

If he came back on massive Unders, sure. Brisbane is doing much better without him and we don't need him.
I have no desire to give him a start in the halves
- Was merely questioning the poster that does,
And wondering where all these wraps are coming from for a kid that's barely played....
It's ridiculous.

I almost feel sorry for the Roosters. Only Dominic Young is coming so far and I thought they had plenty of time to unearth a more local juniors. If what is alleged is true, what about due diligence before spending big? It must be an unhappy club to be in at present if true.
And Spencer Leniu.

Somehow they’ve found room in their cap for the best off contract winger and the best off contract prop. Hmmm….

Naden has all the attributes to be a top centre except one..between the ears.
Hes going on 28,so IMO he improves quickly & has the remainder of the season to extract his considerable potential to consolidate his position
...or we find someone else during the off season
If Naden was playing against Cows last week and he was on his game, we would have scored even more. Him and Starford would have been on fire

Except defence. That's why he's been released from his past 2 clubs...
He is what he is and he won't be getting any better.

But for some reason we've already re-signed him for another 2 seasons after this one, without him earning it.

Does anyone have any playing intel on Roosters NSW Cup halfback & captain 21yo Sandon Smith?

Won Roosters junior reps player of the season for his SG Ball season in 2021 and near tops the stats in NSW Cup for line break assists & try assists in an underperforming team.

I believe he's still contracted to the Roosters for next season but has Keary, Walker, Manu, Hutchison ahead of him.

TIGERS SET TO MAKE SWEEPING ROSTER CHANGES FOLLOWING OFAHENGAUE'S DEPARTURE

The Sydney Morning Herald’s Adrian Proszenko says that Wests Tigers fans should expect more list changes soon following the departure of Joe Ofahengaue.

Proszenko said that with the recent appointment of Scott Fulton as head of recruitment and room in their salary cap, plenty more movement players will come and go at the Tigers before the end of the season.

“You are going to see that Tigers roster change now that Scott Fulton has come across.

“There are already talks about a few Manly players that he may target.

“The composition of that roster will change.”

Fulton was controversially hired from the Manly Sea Eagles by the Tigers board who didn’t consult the coaching group.

SEN’s Scott Sattler has warned against the Tigers pursuing a handful of players from one club.

“Wests Tigers, be careful of signing players from one particular managing group,” Sattler said on SEN 1170.

“It terrorises your playing roster.

“You can’t continually file your players through one club because it ruins you.

“We’ve seen it with the Gold Coast Titans who wanted to sign two players but (were forced) to sign another six.

“It weakens your top 30.” (SEN)
