TEAM LIST Round 14 vs. Raiders

Team List
Anyone know if there are any other games on at Campbelltown on Friday night other than the NRL at 8:00pm.

I know Magpies KOE are playing at Lidcombe on Saturday afternoon but can't find out if anything else is on at Campbelltown on Friday night or even what time the gates open.

On Ask the Boss, Lee said he wants to see 17,000 there but being realistic he'll be lucky to get anywhere near half that crowd.

If all you are getting is one game and the fact that you could stay in the warmth and comfort of your home and watch it on channel 9/Kayo/Foxtel on the TV, there isn't a great deal of incentive for people to travel to the ground especially if you have just worked all week.

Anyone going? I'll be there to cheer the boys on but I'm a fairly easy traveling distance from the ground.

Coach
: Tim Sheens
He’s jumped Rua already mate. A bit quicker than you, and a couple of others said he would.
You gotta love the way Sheens backs a young bloke and provides a clear path. Or that’s how it looks anyway.
And I love watching young blokes make their way through to nrl level.

I sense an easy win here. Faders fans are very nervous.

They have a great forward pack but their edge defence is atrocious and they’re playing a centre as their fullback.

They’re conceding 29ppg since rnd 7, 24ppg all year. Ranked 16th in defence, would be last if not for the 66 points we put on NTHQLD last game.

We’re attacking well, we’re defending well. I feel a 30-16 type score line. But who knows.

A fair assessment.
Hopefully we show up as they definitely have the wood over us as a club psychologically.

YES!!! Finally a forward pack to match theirs and a on fire backline (besides Talau) to carve up!

Nothing else... NRL only

Thanks Ink.

Yeah, suspected it would just be the NRL game.

Can't believe how difficult it can be sometimes to find game day information when you have a membership and don't need to go to places like Ticketek to buy the tickets.

Im guessing Seyfarth has a great attitude, probably trains hard and says and does all the right things that impresses a coach. People also use to go off when Maguire picked him ahead of others but clearly a coach knows more about players than fans do.
At the end of the day it is about performances. Just because a player can be a coaches pet, doesn't mean they are necessarily any good. Most fans have seen enough in 36 NRL appearances from Seyfarth to suggest that he will never be NRL standard. Moses Mbye lasted years in the NRL also being a complete fraud for example.

If Api is fit he has to start. The idea of having Simpkin start is mad. Api has the ability to make the close in defence second guess and to really [This word has been automatically removed] with the headspace of a stopgap fullback trying to set the defensive line. Once we have the ascendency in the middle then it is time to bring Simpkin on. Simpkin may play bigger minutes than usual but starting him would be a huge mistake.

Api is a seasoned veteran; he will know how to conserve a bit of energy and still bring our attack on.

We need a ball playing 13 in the starting lineup and Pole off the bench for impact. Pole is great and will be even better in the future but he's not a ball player and at lock usually stifles the attack by doing his usual stepping and not running hard. He's much better suited off the bench and it's no coincidence we looked our most fluid in attack with Joffa ball playing at 13 and Pole giving impact off the bench when Stef and Klemmer are off.
