Turbo got no clean ball from his FB coz it got stopped at Teddy the hog. I remember he passed the ball twice, once coz the pass to him was average and he had to flick it on or drop it, and the other he was in trouble with defenders and gave a dodgey offload. I would have either Edwards or Turbo himself at FB but Freddy doesn’t have the Jatz crackers for it, sack a legend FB and the captain of the team? Then Api to captain and Klemm starts with Hass and stef on the bench. That last bit I had my Tigers glasses on.Freddy is shit.
Turbo is shit
TPJ is shit.
Start with Liam Martin and Cam Murray and we win.
Campbell Graham in.
Latrell in.
Lol you have taken this quite hard.No bitching? TPJ and Paulo were both bolters with minimal support. Hynes as 14?
Belted them in defence - 10 minutes to go it is 2 points in it. As I described earlier Qld took their chances off poor discipline early. Nothing about belting defence in it. Also not sure when the arm of the player in control of the ball wasn't considered to be part of the ball. The decision to not allow the Frizz try was a 50/50 that benefitted Qld. A key moment in the game.
As I very well described before, the Qld spirit had some effect, but it came down to some very poor NSW decisions: TPJ selection and then brain farts, selection and use of Hynes and Hynes brain fart that put Qld in front; selection of an out of form Turbo.
Don't get me wrong Qld played well - but don't give me some bullshit that Qld made some super effort. NSW kept them in the game by making stupid decisions. The right thing to do with 10 minutes to go and a 2 point lead was play strong up the middle, kick to the corners (40/20 would be nice), play a straight line in defence.
What did NSW do?
Panic in defence.
Munster's try was pure Collins effort - I will give you that; but please don't try to sell that it means more to be a Qlder!
Kid yourself all you want.
That is simply rubbish.
I agree Toovey or HaslerNever has been
Just an egotistical idiot who loves seeing his name and face up in lights
Picks favorites
Should've been sacked years ago
Tonight should be his last game
I will get bagged for this but hell give Toovey the job
Or Shane Flanagan
Or beg Gould to come back
Just piss Fittler of
He thinks he gets it but really and honestly he had no clue or respect
And what really makes our job so much harder is that Billy Slater is the QLD coach
A truly respected legend of the game that will continue the maroons dominance in the origin arena for years to come
I think you hit the nail on the head mate, they have lost pace, all three of them looked slow. Not just Teddy- Tommy T, JAC, both lost speed. Cleary worst game I've seen him play in an age. Need changes
Yea Hasler would be a great optionI agree Toovey or Hasler
Can't coach heart 🧡 man.Lol you have taken this quite hard.
The superior NSW backline was nullified through consistent swarming defence and beaten by clever ballplaying and speed.
The huge NSW forward pack was contained and eventually beaten by a workhorse pack who never gave up despite having their plans thrown into disarray through injury and the worst sin binning in the code’s history.
NSW were gifted more than their fair share of cheap territory through handling errors and penalties yet could only score the 1 legitimate try through organised ballplaying.
QLD ran harder, tackled harder and kicked further. They didn’t panic and they kept attacking the NSW edges. Slater outcoached Fittler, whose only plan was to bomb our inexperienced back 3. The grit of the boys to push on under fatigue and run away with the win despite many of them playing out of position was also commendable.
It was a very good win under the circumstances.
Freddy is the worst NSW coach, he licks his team on favourites rather than form
They got on the outside of Turbo a few times.I think you hit the nail on the head mate, they have lost pace, all three of them looked slow.
As a person who lived most of his life in NSW I can tell you that it really does mean more to be a Queenslander. No bitching? TPJ and Paulo were both bolters with minimal support. Hynes as 14?

It’s true and still surprises me that QLD squads seem to find a way to get it done. Can't coach heart 🧡 man.
I'm not at all concerned about the loss.Lol you have taken this quite hard.

100%. We employ the old school “do to others as you’d have them do to you”.As a person who lived most of his life in NSW I can tell you that it really does mean more to be a Queenslander.
2011 Brisbane floods and thousands of Queenslanders, without prompting spontaneously turn up in the flooded areas to help. The "mud army", that's what being a Queenslander means.
You'll never get it until you live here.
Lived there plenty mate, and all over the country and a couple of other countries. I have personally done a fair bit of disaster relief work and seen the sort of community spirit you describe in plenty of cases. Not something Qlders have over any other state. As a person who lived most of his life in NSW I can tell you that it really does mean more to be a Queenslander.
