NRL is a joke. I’m convinced they don’t want the Tigers to play in the finals. It’s getting as corrupt as FIFA.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^So the bunker and referees confirm that they messed up, yet we have some "fans" on here who go about calling others sheep when we mention the clear refereeing bias against us...
Surely Annesley realises how many times he's had to come out and apologise to the Tigers for refereeing mistakes over his tenure and at what point does he begin to address the clear issues his referees have in officiating Tigers games?
Aw shucks an NRL apology for costing us the game, again. How many post-match apologies from the NRL equal 2 points in compensation?!
Fair dinkum, maybe 2024 is the year that all the calls go our way for a change!
said he had the best game of his career on Friday night which shocked me too hahaha not saying he didn't have a good game but certainly not the game of his careerMatty johhns called Brooks the player of the round.
Read M Johns would be keen to coach at club in some capacity again. Would be a great pick up for a club.
Absolutely correct. But it’s bigger than that (ask the warriors sponsor), unless you are a ‘preferred’ team there will continue to be decisions NOT in your favour. Similarly blatant forward passes are ‘missed’, whilst marginal ones are pulled up. Who can forget big Ken being ruled offside because ‘both’ feet weren’t behind the kicker whilst being 30 m apart and no obvious alignment to make that decision. So the bunker and referees confirm that they messed up, yet we have some "fans" on here who go about calling others sheep when we mention the clear refereeing bias against us...

The only thing which stopped him from having a perfect game was the abysmal management of the last play of the game. Should have been one more hit up to the right post to setup for a field goal.said he had the best game of his career on Friday night which shocked me too hahaha not saying he didn't have a good game but certainly not the game of his career
Our team’s inability to defuse a simple kickoff doesn’t help. The only thing which stopped him from having a perfect game was the abysmal management of the last play of the game. Should have been one more hit up to the right post to setup for a field goal.
Who can forget Junior Pauga not watching the ball and letting it hit him without travelling 10m off a short drop out. Nothing will ever beat the stupidity of that moment! Our team’s inability to defuse a simple kickoff doesn’t help.
How many times have we lost a game at the end coz we can’t do the basics like defuse a kickoff or a short drop out after getting our nose in front.
You can’t blame Brooks, he had already won the game for us, all we had to do was work as a team and not blow it.
That one angered me than most, not sure why, there has been plenty worse ones.Who can forget big Ken being ruled offside because ‘both’ feet weren’t behind the kicker whilst being 30 m apart and no obvious alignment to make that decision.
I personallly think that was the defining moment. The papi penalty and subsequent fluffing around doesn’t bother me at all because the raidas shouldn’t have been in that position. Our team’s inability to defuse a simple kickoff doesn’t help.

From memory I think we only had seconds left? Might not have had the opportunity after one more tackle. The only thing which stopped him from having a perfect game was the abysmal management of the last play of the game. Should have been one more hit up to the right post to setup for a field goal.
I’m pretty confident it happens too. Refs are human.I watched a doco. on Netflix about an NBA ref. who was gambling on games, got caught and came clean about everything.
He said all refs referee teams differently, and referee certain players differently. He also admitted refs. take their grudges against clubs and coaches out on the players.
They do it subtly. It's not always the calls they make. In NRL it can just be the 6 agains, the speed of the ruck, how they police the 10 etc.
It happened in the NBA, I'm sure it happens in the NRL.
