Well tonight confirmed we need a 6 and if Talau is going to Manly it’s a great call. Also Noffa showed Staines will be in front of him when he comes back. I think we have a great nucleus - we need to just get better at week in week out playing consistently

Laurie in for Wakeham

Naden was playing excellent before his injury. Laurie should be given a crack at 6 in first grade

Was a weird performance in my mind, I know we lost but we showed some fight at the same time. Api coming off early threw us off badly, he’s our best player and most instrumental

If Talua and Wakeham don’t play that game I believe we’re a real shot

Thought bula was super quick , at a couple of times he looked very slow , then he runs Campbell down , not what to make of him speed wise

He does seem to lumber into the defence when returning the footy & would probably be more effective if he sprinted. But he does consistently run over 200m & covers so much ground off the ball so maybe saving his energy? Still learning his trade but the effort is definitely there & that’s the most important thing.

Big chance to step up with Api & Brooks out for the time being.

Talau and Wakeham were 2 of the worst games I've seen in a tigers jumper.

Thought Nofa, Bula, Bateman, Stef, Toa were all good - not much else

Think he was worried about getting taken over the sideline on his big break. He didn’t use the width of the field, ran a very narrow route.

Really poor performances from Talau and particularly Wakeham, along with a bunch of errors from others, but were still somewhat in the game until Simpkin lost the plot near our line.

Wakeham has been okay for a while now, so can excuse tonight's nightmare, but not another.

I’m just sick of watching Wests Tigers fans becoming the biggest whiners in the comp. People were blaming the refs in the first 10 minutes of the game, ignoring our horror ball handling and set completion.
We lost fair and square due to our own incompetence, as is always the case.
