What the brains trust did is the worst possible way to build up camaraderie and positive DNA within the club,the 3 stooges Sheens Pascoe and Lee in league with the dorks on the board stuffed us up yet again

Learned nothing from past mistakes and have no clue about building culture. Joe O is the last player that should have been given the tap under our current situation, and if they still don't get why then we as a club with them in control are going nowhere.

Rubbish. We don't lack a big body coing off the bench, our pack is fine.

Players' not running hard is the issue. Our backs are terrible at making metres, always dancing around, shuffling etc

Losing Joffa hurts for one reason, team chemistry. We haven't won a game since he left, the whole mindset of the team seems to have changed.

On field he was easily replaceable. But we still need to use his squad spot on someone that adds real value to the club.
 
U know maybe we are all wrong and the club has this great plan to raid the women’s league, because I don’t see or hear about any other players available coming next season and are record of trying to get players here is extremely low , even with what we got , we didn’t get any half’s or a ball playing lock , so I hope after we get are 2nd wooden spoon them players hang around or we start to see them ask for releases . We will have a huge war chest of cap and nothing to show for it

Biggest concern I have with Blore is his durability.
 
With shit halves do we need to start playing Des-ball? Remember the way he had the dogs playing through the middle, due to their forwards being more skillful than their halves? A lot harder now without Api, but if we get something like that happening, might be a way to get off the bottom of the ladder. Would need a few big bodies on the bench. Would rather not get two spoons in a row.

We were told by the Media that Brooks had at least 4 NRL teams wanted him plus one
Super Leagues team.

Two of the NRL teams NQL And Raiders Have denied any interest, the other 2 teams in NRL,
We were never told who they were ?

And the Super League team we were told about about 6 weeks ago ??? Crickets from them.

He is in demand alright ?????

I wouldn't be 100% sure that Sheens is in league, cahoots or whatever with the others that you mentioned.

You haven't heard anything directly from the clubs interested so that makes it untrue - simply because you are out of the loop??

You do realise that unlike our basket case front office - most clubs do their recruitment behind closed doors - and only selectively leak info to favoured media!??

But feel free to jump to conclusions because it is not all entirely transparent...

I will say this. We’ve gone through so much I wouldn’t be going to get any of the established half backs as they’re all in their early to mid thirties. I think we need to buy young half and play the long game. The forwards are set and the back three are set. The bench isn’t bad. I haven’t seen Trindall or Metcalf but they’re obviously someone to consider. Volkman as well. Happy to hear your thoughts.

Any club has been able to negotiate and sign four 8 months now

Than suddenly we offer what he is worth and he knocks us back and claims he has options

What a load of crap

No one wants him and his only option seems to be to try pressure us into over paying yet again

It comes down to price doesn’t it ?
If he would play for 300k per season for the next two years I think we could safely say 17 NRL clubs and every Super League clubs would be happy to sign him.
It’s rumoured Wests Tigers have offered him 500-600k for the next two seasons which I believe is fair & reasonable, Brooks rejected it so he obviously believes he can get more or a similar offer from a club with a better playing roster than what Wests Tigers have.
As most know I’m a Luke Brooks fan, but I acknowledge we probably need to head in a different direction and believe we need to gamble a bit in paying massive overs to try and sign young emerging players such as Jonah Pezet, Latu Fainu, Braydon Trindall or Blake Taafe.
