Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Murdoch crap , old Rupert is not content to ruin liberal democracy and the climate on his scorched earth way out the door, he is also trying to ruin Sports Journalism especially in Rugby League while he is at it .. just a pet project of his
I often wonder how some of the older League journalists like, Alan Clarkson, Ray Chesterton and Peter Filingos would react to the crap that Buzz Hooper and cohorts spew out these days.

Well, there it is - they're going to the Dolphins.

NRL clubs line up for highest-paid teen in rugby league history?

I see the marquee halfback from Saints, Moses Mbye is on the market.
Welcome back Moses.
Manly would seem to be a natural fit .. Moses fits their current criteria perfectly ,, Average Af, lazy, overrated and seemingly unable to be dropped , ever … and to top it off the Tigers no longer require him.. my money is on him signing a 3 year $3 million contract by tomorrow afternoon and likely swapping for Olakauata by the July 30 cutoff !!

On one hand I feel a bit sorry for poor Moses - he’s been compared to some abstract level of greatness based on his early games and perceived upside. In reality he’s a decent utility doing his best. On the other hand he’s got some clubs, including ours obviously, to pay him big money well above his actual talent. Good luck to him I guess.

This story that we should have a crack at bringing Michael Morgan out of retirement to fill in as our number 7 for the rest of the season .. has merit .. he’s only 31 .. hasn’t played for two years so he hasn’t been banged around for the last two years .. he can direct / lead a team around successfully .. what do we think .. yay or nay .. ?? ( sorry I now see the Morgan chat .. my bad)
