This is going to be interesting, if offering Mitchell Moses and Cameron Munster the family fortune and your first born child wasn't aggressive then I can't wait to see what comes next. 🤣🤣 🤣

He'll probably sign Nofo for another 5 years at a million a year.

Is he better than Wakeham? Im not advocating us signing him i was asking a hypothetical question, as it stands Wakeham will be our HB next season presuming we resign him.

Perhaps then we could go for a Sanders and give him a year to develop further, with Flanagan as a stop gap for a year IF we can't get anyone better who is more experienced.
All this is assuming we have Fainu done and he will be our 6 next year so we can't have two inexperienced halves paired together next season.

I wouldn't have him anywhere near the club.
The carry on when he said "This is my house" for scoring a try when his team was down by 28 odd points already against the Sharks tells you all you need to know.

I would cop Wakeham 7 days a week over Flanagan.

I agree, he keeps saying the same thing over and over, just swaps Flanagan for Clune depending what day it is. For all we know Flanagan might do well here, we know for sure after 11 seasons that Brooks never did well here, so why cry about losing him, we can't just keep doing the same thing over and over hoping for a different result

Who do we get then, i'd take Trindall 7 days a week and twice on Sundays but in reality i don't see it. We've missed every other target we get laughed at, guys like Wakeham are the only one's that seem to consider us. Getting pumped by 74 point on the weekend didnt do us any favours in the players market either.
Wakeham is not the answer to the problem surely we can all see that, well i would hope we can anyway.

Lee seems to have his heart in the right place...but also seems to have zero idea about footy.

In July 2023...when hardly a soul is left to sign.

He likely does not even know that.

Yet last week Sheens said we need to hold our nerve for the pathways to develop the next generation and Fulton said if you're not a destination club you end up with overpaid middle of the road players.

Lee shouldn't be involved.

Apparently "yes". I don't get it as the Dogs clearly have Halves options lined up and we don't. Although Maybe Toby just wanted a start and not to have to rescue an entire team.

I also think it's silly to say Tigers aren't trying to improve. Both clubs went for Cameron Ciraldo, both clubs competed for Tevita Pangai. Both clubs made big offers to high-profile candidates and missed out; both clubs signed some high-profile candidates. Both clubs recently sacked out-of-favour but experienced coaches.

It's not that Tigers are not trying, they just aren't doing the right things or aren't getting results from the things they've tried.

Okay that's fair.

The Dogs are more successful in actually making positive moves forward than WT. They actually have halves signed for next year and signed another one. We have no one outside of Doueihi who will sit out most of next season.

Every time we've gone up against the Dogs off the field we've lost. JAC, Ciraldo, TPJ. They signed Sexton and kept that quiet while everyone knows we chased Moses, Pearce, Johnson unsuccessfully and are now chasing Fainu.

Off the field they are so far ahead of WT it's not funny.

Oh wait, I get it.

Sack Sheens and Appoint Anthony Griffin, then we would have a shot at getting Hunt. We could rival St George for 16th! SMH
