Interesting on Nrl 360 tonight Braith who played a short stint with Tigers said when he went there he knew something not quiet right but then hosting 360 said he couldn't talk details but what he did say was telling .You can't blame the coaches and the players inferring its the management .That's what has to change

Braith did not play for us but he did wander onto the field a few times in our jumper and gazed at the scenery,he was another of Tim's Terrible Signings

I now feel if we did get Flanagan we may be in a different spot now , he seems head strong but would have been new to the club , Sheens is and will be a disaster , he needs to step away and I mean away, get out of the coaching , get out of the way selection , Lee while we’re at it piss off with your purchased spot in our club , your money is no good hear

Every coach comes up against the exact same problems getting a roster here, has the same lack of success and leaves after 2.5-3 years. Blind Freddy could tell you that changing coaches has been done to death. It’s not our solution. This time our administration even factored in another change of coach when they did the contracts. Straight away Benji found out that elite talent isn’t interested in the place when he approached the elite halves. Maybe a Wayne Bennett could have been able to do something here but I seriously doubt it. There’s an underlying issue there. Munster, Moses, Johnson, JAC, they didn’t trust the place to bring their career here. They seemed a bit interested but ultimately probably took less money to not come. Why? Maybe a review might help!
This is pretty spot on!

More interesting is that is was

3 CEO’s and
6 coaches ago!!
Yes we didn’t have much luck with Grant Mayer either. I don’t think Pascoe is the sole problem, but it’s likely he has something to do with how things are, and more so the board as all decisions and structures flow down from there. I did think we had a big refresh of the board at one point though? Some balance between Wests and Balmain, and an NRL appointed member? I don’t know.. They just keep making bad decisions, and Sheens was another one of those. Unfortunately, I also think Benji is too.

If WT’s ever get their shit together and start being successful than NRL 360 will have to cut it back to a 20 show.

Chicken or egg with 360? We play poor because we have no star players, NRL 360 call us basket cases and Bwaith laughs whenever someone suggests a top line player might consider coming to the Tigers. Players watch the show and the talk becomes reality. Cycle continues.. As much as we as fans agree with what they’re saying the damage it’s causing our reputation when they say it in such a public forum is irreversible… I found Braith arrogant today when Hooper mentioned that Tino and Fifita might come to the Tigers. Anasta responded that you can shut that down because there is no way they are going to the Tigers… Hard to watch. But for some stupid reason I keep watching.

Did he mention if that was why he mailed it in when contracted with us? Or was it all just about the gatorade and leukoplast shortage?

Surely there is a law that Braith and Hooper are breaking by continually bagging the Tigers publicly ? Common Lee earn your keep. How many times are you going to hear Hooper go on and on about Pascoe and his poor decisions since 2015?…

From NRL 360 posted on Fox Sports website

“We learned this week that possibly because they haven’t enacted the get-out clauses yet, but possibly Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and David Fifita might become available,” Hooper said.

“But I don’t see them going to the Wests Tigers.”

“There is no way they are going to the Wests Tigers,” Anasta said.

Queensland legend Billy Moore was expecting big things from the Tigers in 2023 after their recruitment drive last season, but the club has failed to improve.

“I thought their recruitment last year was the best,” Moore said.

“They won three games last year. I expected them to be one of the most improved sides this year.

“They got Bateman and Klemmer and they went out there and they shopped and I thought they did a good job.

“Something is wrong with the culture and the DNA of the joint. I thought having Sheens and Benji there would sort it.”

Anasta played for the Tigers in the last two years of his career in a move he regrets and believes the problem he faced then is the same now.

“I think it is about leadership,” Anasta said.

“I have been saying it for a while. I was there a long time ago and as soon as I walked into the joint I knew there was a problem there and looking from the outside in I don’t think it has changed a hell of a lot over those years.

“I think there needs to be some significant change there not just coaches and players. There needs to be significant change at that club to move forward.”

Hmmm…this has me thinking… Fox throw a lot of money to the NRL via broadcasting rights. A national competition with teams in W.A. and S.A. would be what Fox wants to increase their subscriber reach and revenue. Expansion to achieve this is difficult due to the limited player pool, so relocation is the more viable option..Could it be that Fox/Nrl360 are purposely pushing an agenda against the WT continually reporting how they are a basket case so the NRL end up moving the WT out of Sydney and start fresh again elsewhere as a new franchise. Hmmmm

They just keep demonstrating why the salary cap doesn't work if the role of it is to make an equitable competition. Is Braith talking as a player manager with one of the best players in the game as a client when stating mockingly Tino and Fifita are never going to go to the Wests Tigers?
What is the point of the salary cap when the bottom team has money to spend but no players to improve their position are available to them - and you have the compere of one of the most influential NRL media outlets and a player manager broadcasting it while at the same time bagging the club impacted by the system.

They keep reporting we are a basket case because we keep presenting ourselves as one. One month of good footy saw them totally lay off us and go after St George instead.

Braith is an idiot. As soon as someone starts talking culture and something obviously wrong and leadership they are full of crap. Comments like this are just smear attacks.

You need details.

Just to clear it up Braith is actually stupid and uneducated,

When it comes to what is wrong it's simply the lack of our ability to get a good roster. The coaching staff may not be up to it but we'll never know unless you have a good enough squad,

So why don't we have a good enough squad ? Well Shines tanking last year was all on the footy department and letting Joe O go is all on the footy department. These aren't though big issues and they are really about developing a better team longer term.

Other issues are around the running of the comp. The salary cap gets rorted by plenty of teams. There is no draft.

There is no easy solution. The club needs to keep developing top talent and we need to purchase quality players. The outcome is simple in that we need a better squad but that requires lots of good decisions in an uneven comp.

I Heard it again on the Behind the Roar Podcast,

How did the Tigers NOT anticipate the Cowboys wanting revenge for their record loss a few weeks back??

How was this a surprise???

The idiots went on holidays and were ill prepared.

These constant Stupid and unprofessional decisions is what's causing the drama here that results in our club being a joke.
