Just watched the st Helen’s game , sione Matautia the backrower, I think still has a lot to offer , he would be a great pickup. His defence is great and he runs the ball up with plenty of power

He did Not get it done for us , and then left when we finally stopped overpaying him.. I cannot wrap my head around the excuses and nonsense people rave on about with regards to him.. statistically he suck’s as a halfback .. in 10 years in a comp that half the teams make the semis to be the halfback and not make it he semis is highly improbable and yet Luke’s failures Broke the odds .. that is saying something

If you are supporter like me, this thread has become depressing - not to say the club and their performance hasn’t been extremely poor. But holy Jesus this thread is awful. I’m fine with shutting this thread to members only for now. We are beating an almost dead dog here. This was once an exciting place to visit on a daily basis but it is a turd now.

Yeah mate, sorry for the kind of aggressive tone of my reply.. I guess I’m just frustrated with the team, the management and some of the posters on this forum and the outright lies and trolling of fellow supporters on this thread has worn me down I guess.. your post was none of these things so I’m sorry for my response mate.. I actually just wish we would SIGN someone instead of announcing an Interest or that we are making an approach.. feels like we are constantly setting ourselves up for a Public rejection and the ensuing embarrassment and media criticism....it’s worn me down I think 🤔 🥺
