Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

You've just suggested Sheens is not a good coach. What makes a good coach? I'd suggest being a very good player manager, a strategist and being able to impart knowledge to players. Sheens more than ticks the boxes in these areas. What you're suggesting is ageist based. I am not willing to comment on this issue but what I do know Bula is just another fullback in a long line of very good fullbacks to emerge under Sheens. I posted Sheens' comments on Bula during pre-season and he was 100% correct. Is this coincidence?

You and I could have probably seen Bula’s talent and promoted him into NRL with the rabble ahead of him at the time…

Can Sheens find another 4 or 5 like him… and we need them now…

That is not true. I could not. Sheens made a comment about Bula coming from nowhere to be success at fullback.

Bring back Brooks, Staines and Nofolauma and the side immediately is much stronger in the backs.

well I could have …and in hindsight he should have had in the team from Week 1

would a good coach pick AJ Kepoa every week on the wing to leak 3-4 tries a game?
If there was no one else to pick due to injury. We have Staines and Nofoaluma perhaps back this game. Kepaoa played really good football at 2nd row and I'm sure he will return in competition with others for a position. If I recall he was switched to 2nd row by the coaching team.

I seriously don’t know how you could defend this decision… the guy is one of the worst players I have ever seen in a WT jersey …which is saying a lot as I have been watching them for 24 years and seen the likes of Nick Graham

anyone would be more preferable on the wing than him and week after week we are his lack of desire and talent on full display

There was few (if any) options available.

Anybody seeing a modern day backrower in Bateman, and the club signing him to a 4 year contract for over 700k per year and plus the transfer fee they paid 250,00k, seriously he offers nothing, his competitive nature doesn't now even exist. Bula has shown how special he is going to be, from Nov 1 next year, he is open to signing with another club even though he is signed for 25, just go and offer another 4 years and do something normal Weststigers

He played NSW cup
No shit, he was coming back from injury through KOE cup and got injured. If he got through that game I’m going to guess he would back in firsts this week at the expense of AJ but there were no other options to play unless you put Hopa or Reilly in.

Oh I’m sorry … I didn’t know it was a prerequisite to come back from injury via reserves .. I must have missed API’s game there last week..

I was told there were no other options to AJ… i have named two.. neither are ideal but they are both superior to the option that was selected.. as we witnessed ( again)
