Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

If he can’t sign a pair of juniors that he is apparently close with , then what chance does he have of landing a big fish.
So let’s say the Dolphins come in with a ridiculously large offer in terms of $$ and they sign there, Fulton should be sacked? That doesn’t make any sense unless you want to end up like we did after Cleary left.

Yes Fulton needs to show he can sign quality players, but that involves more than 1 or 2 players going one way or the other.

Just watching 100% footy and noted 2 things.
1. Laurie supposedly set to sign with the Panthers for 12 months and,
2. Nice Uncle Gus visited the Fainu elder in prison for an hour and an half, after a catch up with the other 2 brothers. Mentoring not signing is what he said. Smooth as silk that man, watch out he doesn’t Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon the Phins and us in signing them.

2- I think its more likely they sign with the Dogs than the Dolphins personally

We have the last few weeks. Sione Fainu suddenly getting a start in NSW Cup.

I think that is blatantly obvious though and I'm sure they won't forget he was 18th man for NSW Cup earlier in the year.

Again, just shows there is no plan.
Gould is a snake, liar who will do anything to benefit himself and it is blatantly obvious that’s what he is doing now. Did he visit any other inmates, no, bcoz no others have brothers he might be able to sign.
I would subtlety remind them we have developed their brother from an 18th man to the run-on side playing better than he ever has, and that Phil is only making prison visits to not so subtlety get his foot in the door to a party he’s late for.
This was my take on it the first time I heard Phil went for a prison visit. You don’t go to a prison for fun friendly chats, they are not a very nice place to be at for any reason.
Hopefully the Fainu Family can see through Phil too.

Well yes, that’s his job and he is doing it well.
Why would he speak with other inmates?
Have you ever visited a prison? You can’t just hang around chatting to whoever you want to all arvo. Your point is stupid to be honest and it’s drowning in bitterness.

Hard to fathom why the Bulldogs would want the Fainu brothers given that the Bulldogs signed Sexton and Oloapu this year plus have Burton and several other promising halves coming thru in the lower grades, hence why the Tigers were able to sign Iverson Matai from the Dogs recently so no need for the Dogs to sign another promising half (not short of backrowers either).

Prehaps Fainu is an upgrade on Matai?

More crap dribble from sucker, you gunna try and fat shame me again?
Yes sucker I have been to prisons and the only one drowning in his own bitterness is you Champ.
This oughta set you off for a few days then hey???

Gus goes and visits Fainu in prison, no mention of his cell mate Hayne plane, so anyone thinking this was an act of compassion think again.
Gould might not be looking to sign the kids in this instance watch out next contract, when inevitably he'll mention remember when i visited your bro in prison i have your best interests at heart.
He's a self serving snake of the highest order, shouldnt be allowed on TV to spin his rubbish each week.

Karlos is a lock, Burton a centre. you put Latu at 6 and they look incredibly dangerous across the park.

Given the way the media can portray anyone in a bad light if they want to- there has to be some element somewhere that Gould might actually be...just doing a good thing.

I have no doubt he's very self serving. But he has a lot of connections in the game & a lot of people do look up to him.

I'm still mildly confused as to how Blake Taaffe is going to fit in there.

Oloapu has played mostly in the halves but if the Dogs want to switch him to lock given he is 94kgs and could add more size that is a possibility.
