Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

From memory, Tedesco had limited playmaking skills when he started. Even now, he isn't an 'elite' playmaker at the back. His game has always been based on running and support play.
I would agree with that but Teddy was very good from day one with his kick returns and tackle breaking ability which I have yet to see with Jahream.

Not saying that he won't develop that, it's just that every time he defuses a bomb and runs I anticipate him busting a few tackles and getting into open space but unfortunately it doesn't happen.

As good as he has been when taking into consideration the number of games he has played, I think it is getting to the stage where he is being over hyped and I don't see that as being a good thing because he has a long way to go before he can be considered anywhere near one of the best performing full backs in the NRL.

It's his defence and ability to know where to be at the right time that has him hyped IMO. To have that instinct with such inexperience is the main thing that people are noticing. Adding to that is a few moments where he has showed natural athleticism and not to mention a great involvement rate. The hype is well justified.

Once he learns to engage the defensive line rather then just passing early he will be a real weapon.
