Post of the season mate !!! Then our fanbase tried to convince themselves that Brooks under Sheenius ball would take us to the top 8. 3 wins & back to back spoons later Brooks is off to Manly & Jacko actually wanted a contract extension here to repay the faith the club had in him. Such bad decisions all round but hey our CEO makes no apologies right? effing joke

I don’t like him, but if he signed with us I think we’d all be doing cartwheels.

He’s a couple of levels above any halves we’ve had or are close to signing for 2024.

If we signed him it would be for big money, he's not worth big money. The guy would be Brooks V2 in terms of forum punching bag. He skips around doing not a lot but in a team full to the bream of stars he looks decent. He probably would be levels above anything we have now. But lets face it as it stands we don't have a lot right now. Latu could turn out to be anything he could also be nothing, im hoping for the former but we'll see.

I don’t agree that he would have improved our side by THAT much. Though I do believe it certainly could have been the Tigers watershed moment if we made the call to give Brooks away and back Hastings going forward.

I can't say I am a fan of Luai. However the commentators were talking about the Panthers winning record with no Cleary but Luai in the team still and it was over 80%+ still. When it was no Luai and Cleary there still the record was much closer to 50%.

Luai makes Cleary look like a star half just like he made Burton look like one.

Luai has more of a chance of becoming a 7 than Sullivan though tbh. Moses made the transition, Maloney directed from 6, walker directs from 6 and will probably wear 7 next year with wighton in 6.
Luai is a leader, watch how much he talks. I don't know if I like it but he could easily be a 7.

Edit: Forgot Munster too.

Bigger signing than Api can only possibly be Payne Hass. He’d be after a big contract and we would be the only club able to pay him an inflated contract.
Could be in parallel with the news that we will sign Xavier Willison. Is Benji trying to play the Broncos off on each other?
Sign the best prop in the game or sign his protégé?
 
No doubt we should have kept Hastings but he isn’t the only reason knights are in hot form, Ponga was out and started the year poorly and they were sooo bad…Ponga is now back in form and they are killing it.

With Hastings we probably are ahead of dogs and drags, doubt much better. But say if knights had brooks or even Pearce still, I can’t see them doing any worse without Hastings.

He wasn’t the answer for us but he’s just like matto and Aloiai in that it would be nice to have all 3 still playing for us. We somehow manage to loose any above avg first grader. Club needs to realise that one gun player won’t solve our issues and focus hard on keeping talent we have whilst still improving the roster.
