Buying Garner and losing Twal?
Is this George Costanza's opposite world?
That makes no sense at all.

When you look at positions it would be buying Garner and losing Kepaoa which makes it sound a lot better. As for Twal I love him but if it's not this year then with Stefano,Klemmer, Pole, James, Blore moving to the middle and Samuela Fainu and then Faagatu and Miller coming through then at some stage he may become surplus to needs although personally I think it may be a year away yet.

Twal's having his best year. You know what he's gonna deliver every week in defence and he's really just starting to dent the line every week.
To let him go now would be that we've developed a quality player for another club.
He's my first pick every week somewhere in the 17.

We are in no position to be losing a player like Twal.My biggest criticism of him is that he takes a one out hitup on the 4th or close to the tryline,that’s probably more to do with our halves and lack of options .
He started the year in red hot form ,had a mid season slump,but he’s back to playing at a high level.
Twal,Klem and Stefano is a pretty good prop rotation.We need to turn James or Pole into a Leniu type.

We have a definite need for a fast, big, powerful outside back who can finish, take high balls & is good defensively.

Thomas Jenkins, off contract at Penrith & may be the victim of their depth in the backs. Worth a good look.

Yes a good player from Cowra or Young. Plays well for the Panthers when given the opportunity.

Would be great to get Luke Garner back!!

At one stage in our 5 year plan he was our best outside back. He was also our only edge forward who could break through a hole, while simultaneously catching a pass.

A much better option for a Centre/Back Row utility instead of Keapaoa or Garner is Kayal Iro, on the outer at the Sharks. Hopefully we are looking into.

So looks like we are relying on our crop of Juniors to fill most of the Top 30 for 2024. Next year we will mist likely struggle hope I am wrong with 2025 looking like our best chance to play finals in a very long time

If there is any truth to the rumour that we are keen on signing Luai from 2025, why would we then bother on signing Sullivan as Fainu was signed to be one of our halves long term.
We need short term experience in the halves to help us get through until the young players we have are hopefully ready to fulfil their potential at NRL level.
I’m not a huge fan of Sezer, but if we signed him and Adam Clune and let them fight it out for our starting 7 spot for a season or two, that would probably be a good outcome.

Im thinking 2024 is going to be not that much different than 2023.

Angry because every year seems to be same old story, next year will be better.

And next year always seems to be when all these magical signings are coming.

If the juniors become quality players. Most don't. It's a massive step up.
