Go Fund Me - Members to buy the Club

How many members have we got? 20,000 or so?

How much would it cost to buy this shitty club?

If all 20,000 of us put in $1,000 each that’s $20M. A good start.

Surely if we get some big hitters chipping in we could buy the club off these pricks running it.

Members could have voting rights, the whole shebang.

Who’s with me? It’s the only way this club will change!

As much as I do not believe the Board is as big an issue as most others believe it is, I would be happy to be part of paying $1,000 or thereabouts if it meant the club as privately owned by 20,000 or so members.
The Bulldogs have changed their board recently, have Gus Gould who is supposedly one of the smartest footy brains running the show and realistically they have had a worse season than us as they have been blown away far more times than what we have.
The Roosters have a supposed messiah in Nick Politis as their chairman and a coach who is supposedly far better than ours, but with their roster full of rep players, it is worse than us getting the wooden spoon if they miss the finals.

Lol that’s some deflection stating the Dogs and Roosters have had worse seasons than us.
It’s mind boggling in its stupidity actually….lol

Comparatively speaking it’s not.
We came last in 2022 and weren’t considered (apart from our own fans) to improve much on that.
The Bulldogs loaded up on just about everyone available, including the ‘Messiah’ running the joint, were expected to improve greatly and push into the top 8.
The Roosters, with a stacked lineup, were expected to push Penrith to take out this years comp.
Coming last is a shocker for us … but not unexpected by most NRL fans.
Bulldogs and Roosters supporters would be fuming as much as us I’d guess.
Only thing we’ve got to top them in the end is the ineptness of our board and coaching staff… the joy that just keeps on giving. 🤣

Is it possible that we’re too fixated on the 3 solitary games we’ve won? And using that only as our level of success?
I have seen improvement in the team this year. There’s definItEly been ‘overall on field behavioural improvement‘ with the exception of under pressure reaction, both in attack and defence, no different to what we see throughout the club.

You are a very deep thinker grasshopper.
Do not let the results get in the way of the process, I can get that but I suggest that, at some stage, the two shall meet.
Maybe next year ???
Pleeeeease….,

Yes, at some point in time the results on the scoreboard will reflect the club’s activity. In fact, most of the time I think? Isn’t that what happening now?
actually we only got seriously beaten twice on the scoreboard. Round 5, I think it was when Pascoe distracted everyone with his pregame kicking. Down 28 - 0 at half time, the boys got the image of Pascoe out of their heads and had a 18-12 2nd half.
The Cowboys game? The least said the better. I’m sure Pascoe must have done something behind the scenes to distract the players. Lol

I admire the aspiration of a gofundme but how would that be any different to what we have today if anything having what 20,000 owners of the joint all staking their views and needs would actually make things worse (which would be hard to achieve).

It would take more than $20m to buy the name let alone 100% rights to the club.

I’d make it a public company so shareholders can elect.

Thanks for the tip brother.

I'm pulling all my super and putting it into Tigers Realm Coal Ltd (ASX - TIG).

At the current share price of $0.007 I will make a fortune, I mean surely just like Wests Tigers they can only go up can't they?
