Past serviceman here - I agree with your sentiment. Espirit de corp - I view some of the negative comments through the lense of loyalty, commitment, holding fast in difficult circumstances as we were taught as serviceman.

Many of us have these traits.
It doesn’t automatically translate to football fandom.

05 was still a tough year. It finished well but we werent great for chunks of it.

It's good we have supporters that are willing to stick by the club through thick & thin, that sort of resilience & loyalty are admirable qualities in a person. But I completely understand & share the frustrations of these so called 'negative' supporters on here because the reality is the club has not made finals since 2011 & we are on the verge of back to back wooden spoons. Comments like "go support another team" are idiotic & needless because people that share in these frustrations obviously care about the club & want to see it do well. We have been an organisation that's failed to hit its targets for a while now after enduring many rebuilds & many coaching/player/staff changes we still are not a successful Rugby League team. If Benji fails then I really don't know what is next for this great club.

If we lose our good juniors again it will be the death of this club. You follow a sports team for the entertainment and winning when you're the underdog, when all you know is losing it stops being fun to watch and there are better uses of your time.

We have won 7 games in 2 seasons mate it's been really tough as of late to be a supporter.

Supporters can be loyal, resilient, stick by the club etc and can also share the frustrations of current circumstances. They are not mutually exclusive. Frustrations grow when a minority continue to do nothing but complain even though fellow supporters on the forum share the same frustrations but choose (it is a choice) to express themselves in a more positive manner.

Marshall is in place apparently respected and liked by the playing group. There is suggestions John Morris is on the way as an assistant. That would be a huge coup for the club. We have Sullivan, the Fainu bros and possibly Sezer joining with hopefully one or two others and surely some re-signing news. There are good juniors in our system and with our Pathways staff, Wayne Lambkin, Fulton and hopefully Morris the junior development will continue. I am disappointed Sheens is leaving as he would be good for the juniors etc. I was disappointed Brooks is leaving but that is in the past now. I remain optimistic our recovery will continue as we still have very good people in the Football dept.

Certainly the players are right behind the coaches....so no disharmony our loss of the dressing room.
