no he didn't. Though the actual allegations of urinating in a cup and throwing it in the air isn't really any better.

I think supporting Benji as a primary assistant coach & rejoining Benji/Farah along with a higher salary than Rabbits might be enough of a lure for John Morris. I doubt we'll hear anything until Souths finish their season.

I'd also be sussing out Paul McGregor & Steve Georgallis.
 
Wasn’t Morris a leading contender for the Head Coaching gig last year after Ciraldo turned it down? Why wasn’t he chosen? Did he reject it?
It’s puzzling to me that everyone is throwing his name around again but this time to be an assistant to a greenhorn who helped us get the spoon this year.
It would be a strange decision to leave Souths for this broken down joint.
 
I don't think it's wise to put a potential 1st grade level coach beneath Marshall.

Last thing Benji & the club needs is rumours & speculation about how long before so-and-so is taking over the top role.

Surround Marshall with good, experienced, level headed types. Marshall is the flambouyant one. Give him Hook, Furner & Georgallis. Farah is there too. None of these guys are a threat to Benji's job, all have been through good systems.

all of those are great shouts. Mary I think is probably the most attainable considering he’s really only part time for NSW, Henry is based in QLD, Morris is at Souths and by all reports Pay is completely turned off coaching after his time at the dogs.

any one of them (or two if they choose to move on Furner) or a guy like Michael Hagan would be fine with me.

Dean Pay is a smart and tough coach as he was a player - but too old school to be a head coach with an unproven squad at NRL level!

Cut his teeth in bush footy coaching historical losers Hervey Bay from last to Premiers in 2001!

Perfect assistant for Benji though as a ying/yang thing - but only if they can build personal and professional trust given they played in different eras and don't know each other currently!

Mary or Morris would seem to be more likely - as they do already have a relationship.

*** I hope NOBODY would prefer the proven rugby league geniuses in the front office to recruit any assistant without the head coach's agreement!!
 
Matt Elliot was something special -when the pressure was on,(Penrith) his after game press conference's revolved around unaffordability of house prices and in between 1st/2nd assassination attempt on him he waxed lyrically about roof tiles hijacking the price
