OFFICIAL Sheens gone

Easily argue - easy isn’t it… maybe that’s the problem.

I love it when the circus workers use another player to argue another player will be a cracker…

What’s Brooks got to do with what I said.

The point of your point - is there isn’t one? Is that it?

Brooks was no good - so this has been we haven’t even signed yet, a kid who’s done nothing and a baby who’s done even less will remedy the situation…

I can tell you what I will argue - I’ve seen (very recently) your man Brooks outplay the current Australian half… and absolutely school a top 4 side full of rep players…

When you’re saying the same thing about Latu, Sullivan or Sezer - you might have a point…
Until then - roll out your “bud Sullivan scored 2 tries against the back to back wooden spooners who haven’t tackled well for 25 odd years”
Man I have been a brooks supporter for a long while and think he will excel at the seagulls. But that’s only because of cherry, as he will as brooks said ‘take the pressure off’. But to talk him up as a great player is a massive stretch, he is a running 5/8th with no game controlling attributes. Be real, his 5th tackle kicks and options over his career have been appalling at best, he has stifled the team to the end. He has frustrated me and others because of his poor play in this area. But at mainly he has evans ti do all that and that why he will go good. But him kicking the club on the way out when we in turn have payed him well in his career is poor form, be better then that and leave on a good note. He is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Guy literally said he doesn't know who make decisions and the deadline made it easy for him...

Few months ago, he said he was going to be selfish or whatever for his next contract.

Well then... what do you expect.

Your post is 100% correct

😂😂😂

There he goes again
- I don't have an answer... Um, dahh...
Brooks!!

Lets summarise this exchange....
I wondered how a Rookie, A Has been - And a kid whos never played a game -could be considered
Better, or in deed our saving grace?
Your counter was Brooks??

I asked what he had to do with what I said - And your answer is still Brooks...

And you reckon I'm missing something...

The same thing over and over
- Like letting go of experienced players, Buying guys that are past it
- And lumbering everything on untested Rookies?

Thank god we're not doing that again next year... Oh, Hang on!!
I agree with your post mostly, but what choice does the club got? We are on the nose and no great halves are going to come to us. I have said previously that we need to sign the best young halves and let them fight it out, an old statesman half ti steer the ship. That’s exactly what they’ve done, I personally would be targeting a controlling half like Pezet or Saunders as the two halves we have signed seem like running halves. Brooks made his decision so it’s time to move on like he has! I think the club has done the only thing they could do, halves wise.

Benji along with Farah are so far the two greatest ever Wests Tigers players bar none, surely nobody can argue with that ?
Benji and Farah don’t need the Wests Tigers, they are both passionate about the club they won a premiership with and will pour their heart and soul into getting the best possible results as soon as possible.
Nobody can deny Benji was an elite player of his generation and looked up to as a role model by many, including quite a few of the current and young up and coming players.
As quoted by Cameron Smith, Benji played a significant coaching role in the latter stages of his playing career which was endured by Wayne Bennett, I do not think those two would be endorsing someone as a coach/potential coach if they did not believe he would be a success.
As an elite player over many years at four different NRL clubs, I think it’s fair to say Benji would have a fair idea what it takes to have the right players to create a successful team.
Great post, these two will build the culture that has been long overdue. Can't wait till next season with Sullivan, Fainu brothers and Sezer, and our young guard with a full off season and a year under their belts.

We aren’t going to be able to sign a game changing half, stating the obvious, why would one come to us. Unfortunately we have to trust that the powers that be have made the right recruitment’s and yet again patiently wait to be disappointed

He accused fellow forumers of having blind faith in the 3 incoming halves to make us better, pretty much laughed at them, I simply countered that it was blind faith the club put in Brooks to come good year after year, and he got all bent out of shape.

I'm quietly confident we will improve next season how much who knows, Sheens has clearly let the game pass him by i think thats obvious now. Probably should have been obvious before we took him on to coach.
I think if Benji surrounds himself with quality assistants he can trust like Johnny Cronk and whoever else we happen to acquire, we can start to look up.
I don't expect instant success as i dont think there will be, but incremental improvement is the minimum we should be after.
I think at this stage Sezer, Sullivan, Fainu and possibly Hawkins if he comes gives us good halves depth and an improvement on this season IMO, weed out a few more plodders in the top 30 maybe bring in a decent outside back or 2 (Olam) i think he could be good for us and i think we might start seeing green shoots.

We have made less missed tackles and less ineffective tackles then any other team in the comp. Furner must be doing something right
Where did you find those stats?
They don’t sound right.
Api is the comps worst offender for missed tackles for example.

HAHAHAHA!!! - Surely you don't believe that?
Sheens doesn't want to spend the next 3 weeks answering questions about getting the tap again.

Notice he was about the only Football Staff that wasn't in the Farewell Brooks Group Shot also...
Wasn't in the box either.
Stepped aside on the weekend it seems.
Cya Timmy
