What about our young player Trey Peni introducing Bula to the coaches and getting him a contract?
Any chance our players have networked with other potential recruits we could get on board? Sell them them the vision.

As dire as it all seems now , it’s worth noting that the teams that came 14th & 15th last year both made the top 8 this year . 1 of them came top 4 .

The Eagles re-signed Schuster and signed Brooks. They've lost the Fainu Bros and apparently Weekes can negotiate (I hope this is code for coming to WTs). In the short term it may pay off for the Eagles but they are losing a few good young players as their NRL players age.

A goalkicking outside back with a history of scoring tries and with pace could be a valuable pick up for WTs. I like the direction our recruitment has taken,
He's 2nd, behind Ronald Volkman on goals kicked in KOE.
He looks like a very exciting prospect.
Good move, in my opinion and hopefully more to follow.

Look at Reuben Garrick who is also a goalkicking outside back from the Illawarra. He is one of those players who incrementally improved each year as he matured. I like that development in a player. Listening to him being interviewed, Lobb is a smart young man and we could always do with a bit more nous in the backs.
Garrick is one of my favourite players.
Super reliable.
Although I don't see much of a resemblance between these two players.... Alex seems like the type of player we've needed for years.
So I hope it works out well for the club and he proves to be an asset.
