We said they’ve played well at the backend of the season with a busted team and ended up where they should have against all predictions after their poor start.
Top 6 is being scoffed at now by some old loser whose team ran last for the past 2 seasons? 🤣

Jesus, you have unresolved issues.

I don't understand what being a Tigers supporter has to do with the price of Eggs Benedict. Nobody has evet suggested that the Tigers had a better season than the Roosters. We came last two years running. We're putrid. But supporters can still comment on the performances of other teams. Free country and all that.

The Roosters were short-priced odds for the top 4 at the start of the season. And with good reason. Their squad was among the best. As it turned out, they scrapped into the top 8 and bowed out in the second week. Sure they suffered injuries, but the other good teams managed to weather injury crisis of their own.

From a Roosters' perspective, they'll be happy with how they rallied at the back end of the season as guys like Collins, Radley and Smith stepped up, while Wong and Sandon Smith emerged as stars of the future. With everyone back on deck next year and Dom Young + Spencer Leinu coming under the sombrero, they'll be very hard to beat.

But by their only lofty standards, they underperformed this year. The Roosters don't settle for mediocrity and they'll rue their slow start to the year costing them a top 4 finish.

And just for an abundance of clarity, while failure is a relative concept, even with very low expectations, the Tigers sucked the most.

I like listening to Robbo talk footy... He's thoughtful and it's insightful and interesting.... Much like sheens used to be in his early days here.... This year sheens was just bitter and cranky
Robbo doesn't go the same old clichés... And his team played pretty tough at the end of the season... Something they can take into next year

Dom Young and Spencer Leniu are very handy additions they will only improve.

My comment about us having a better season than the chooks was a reference to Vicious a few weeks ago. He said it could be worse, we could be roosters, parra or Souths fans. His view was that they had worse seasons than us as they started the year as contenders. You seem to agree with me that I believe that's a load of bullocks so not sure why you have taken offence.

It's the gratuitous aggression you bring to most threads.

When you make a post on a public forum, expect people to agree and disagree with you. People who can't countenance contrary opinions are fake fans, right? Or snowflakes, or some other pejorative.

You reckon the Roosters had a great season and proved the naysayers wrong. I said they finished the year strongly with a somewhat depleted squad, but for such an immensely talented roster, a top 4 finish would've been their benchmark. On that measure, I reckon they underperformed. We can agree to disagree.

'Get belted back'? There you go again with the aggression. The other day you were asking who the f*CK was someone to express their opinion on a public forum, clearly riled that someone had the temerity to disagree with you.

I assumed we were having a light-hearted conversation about the Roosters and my jibe about you being a closet cock was not meant to be taken seriously. Though you rarely say anything positive about the Tigers, you appear to be a supporter.
