Offloading Twal coming off his best ever season, with him adding extra elements to his game and being one of our few players who could be given a pass mark for the 2023 season is baffling ?
I understand he’s supposedly been given a contract which seems too big, but I can think of many others I’d be trying to get rid of ahead of him.

just like Joffa the best chance you have in negotiating an offload or to free up space is to trade someone a team actually is interested in. If dogs can take a fair chunk if the 500k it is a good deal for us.

Every time the club has had a few years of success and even back in the Balmain days and Magpie days it has been when a group of very talented kids have hit the top grade at the same time. It is not unreasonable to think we are about to enter this phase.

Highly doubtful it will be next year, but 2025 could be the year the wheels start to turn. We have a lot coming through but the one I think will be an absolute standout is Galvin. Reminds a bit of a young Nathan Cleary, he never seems to be rushed and has a lot of footy IQ

With reports Alex Twal has now officially met with Cameron Ciraldo it would appear we are looking at granting him an early release to head ti the Bulldogs.
All I can say is we better be getting someone very valuable on return.

Twal is a much better player than a lot give him credit for. His form this year was really strong.

If he goes, I hope his spot is used well.
