How many games we won this year at these grounds? And why do you think it will be better next year?

I doubt there's going to be a Perth team under the current NRL administration, however much it makes sense. Too much like hard work for V'landys et al - they'd rather take the biggest bag of money that's available right now than try to grow the game. They love the Pacific Islands idea if it means the comp getting wodges of cash from the federal government. If that doesn't happen, it'll be whichever outfit in NSW or SE Queensland comes up with the biggest bid.
Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers…they will miss out.I think they will if given the chance. Some failed club lobbing at the door won't be supported

Tamworth ain't badNot perfect, but better than our options over the last decade or so.
Do they fit the criteria? They can always have the Bears
Do they fit the criteria?
Great expansion. LolBeggars cant be choosers right?
I saw Greg Florimo on the Sunday Footy Show last week, and he said if Perth wants to join the Bears for an NRL team, they only need to play 6-8 games a year at North Sydney Oval…
Whats not to love about that ?
Tamworth ain't bad
Great expansion. Lol
The bears are leeches . They try and attach themselves to an area once the NRL have chosen that area for expansion. They retreated from Gosford quick smart.Yeah… that guy is an idiot …as soon as any interstate team joined with them, he would be doing all he could to get it to fall over so he could move them back to North Sydney permanently
We'll still have 5 if you count Tragic Round, Tamworth and we're specials to take one to New Zealand.Of course we're one. That's why we have 2 grounds. Makes sense 😅
It'll be four. We'll still have 5 if you count Tragic Round, Tamworth and we're specials to take one to New Zealand.
If we win a few games our 380,000 supporters that are non members, even though one could argue that they are not really proper fans, will flock back to see us play.
This means we will probably have to move some home games to ANZ/Accor to take advantage of the 80k capacity, taking our home grounds to at least 6.
Good to hear mate. Hope you and the young fella enjoy the season.Correct. Crowd numbers at either ground are dependent upon a few things:
I plan on travelling to both grounds this year with my son. Will stay the night in the area to make it an event. I will pick the best game that plays on a Saturday night for each ground. Looking forward to it already.
- ladder position - if we're winning games people are more keen to come
- time of the game - day time games are nicer to watch in warm winter sun and easier for out-of-towners to get home from
- the opposition - some teams attract more fans, ours and theirs
Thanks. I do, but the son is getting fed up with supporting the Tigers and footy in general. It's been hard sell, I won't lie!Good to hear mate. Hope you and the young fella enjoy the season.
Both clubs deserve to be relevant. Remember you can go too far the other way also.A step forward is to play all our home games AT THE SAME GROUND.
When we keep going back to Campbelltown and Leichhardt, we keep Western Suburbs Magpies and Balmain Tigers relevant. We keep their mouthpieces relevant. We keep their powerbrokers and influencers relevant.
We are the Wests Tigers and next year is our 25th season in first grade.
We need one home ground and as we’ll never agree on which of these it should be, we should piss them both off. They are both shitholes anyway who provide stuff all competitive advantage for the team. Let the juniors and school kids have them…we need to move forward and leave the past behind.
Only thanks to one dickhead.Jebus this thread went off the rails faster than a Wests Tigers season...
