The leadership at our club then blew up the season with its inability to act as a professional organistaion.
To be fair the coaching staff and players did that.

This dysfuntion and lack of professionalism has been obvious for YEARS - now 90% of the blinkered flag-wavers have finally seen the light!!The leadership at our club then blew up the season with its inability to act as a professional organistaion.
Wasn't the meeting today?
North Sydney Bears - only Premierships 1921 and 22!True. Should have said 107 yrs between drinks.
Not easy being a fan of any club unless you
win the whole damn thing anyway lol. Oh well!
Are you aware of what decisions has been made by who and what better decisions could have/should have been made at the time ?This dysfuntion and lack of professionalism has been obvious for YEARS - now 90% of the blinkered flag-wavers have finally seen the light!!
Congratulations on turning the corner!

Why Hagipantelis was asked to stand down: Inside the power play at the Wests Tigers
Chairman Lee Hagipantelis has told those close to him that he believes the independent review being undertaken had been arranged to orchestrate a desired outcome - his exit.www.smh.com.au
Hagipantelis held his interview with the reviewers on Friday morning. In the lead-up, he told those close to him that he was planning to tell Barnier and Crawford that, following conversations with several people who had already been interviewed, he believed the review had been staged and that the recommendation of his removal was a foregone conclusion.
Hagipantelis has also privately questioned the independence of Barnier given he is one of 13 Wests Tigers Foundation members announced on the club’s website that have donated $100,000 to the club over a four-year period.
The Barnier Family is also listed as one of the “Foundation 13” with another $100,000 donation to the club. So too is Hagipantelis and Coates.
Wests Tigers chairman Lee Hagipantelis has no plans on standing down with the outcome of an independent review at least another two months from being resolved.
Hagipantelis was interviewed for two hours by former NRL chief financial officer Tony Crawford, who is leading the review, on Friday morning.
It’s understood Hagipantelis maintained his commitment to leading the Wests Tigers, alongside CEO Justin Pascoe.
The Tigers’ majority owners, the Holman Barnes Group, ordered an independent review into the club last month following yet another season of bitter disappointment, which culminated in a second successive wooden spoon.
The respective roles of Hagipantelis and Pascoe were expected to be central to the review, which the Holman Barnes Group ordered after a group of fans secured more than 2,000 signatures on a petition calling for change.
The review was designed to focus on the club’s corporate governance, its challenges and how the club could be best-served moving forward.
Lee was given the opportunity to voluntarily stand down as Chair - but has defiantly refused...So Lee be staying and Pascoe?
Even if it was you then have to question the due diligence taken when appointing him in the first place. The whole Sheens return to the club and the changing of his role is evidence of a board that can not set a strategic direction and stick to it.I think it was a good call to remove sheens and co swiftly. The issue was they were there to begin with.
Let’s call him OffaRe-Signed and sacked all in a few weeks?
That could never happen !
😂
YES - most of them are public knowledge!!Are you aware of what decisions has been made by who and what better decisions could have/should have been made at the time ?
People are constantly sticking the knife in based on guess work and innuendo.

So close to a couple of GF appearances in the 90s - and now gone forever!
You can always count on this guy for the worst take. For those stating Hagi is only on the board because of his sponsorship money.
Thanks for that breaking news, is it any different to Nick Politis who has been in charge of the Roosters for decades due the the initial years when he was the clubs major sponsor.
With Politis ruling the roost, the Roisters had many seasons of poor results and took a long time to become successful.
Russell Crowe owns Souths, quite often gets involved where it’s not required and quite often makes football club decisions while heavily intoxicated, how is that a better scenario ?
The grass is not always greener on the other side, I’d like to think we are a club that is staunch and looking to find a bit of stability, not chopping and changing everyone involved every time our supporters throw their toys out of the cot.
I should have waited to reply to this post 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣That depends on whether or not you want to disregard the positives and the groundwork that has been put in place to hopefully see massive improvement within a couple of seasons.
The Wests Tigers are born from 2 great working class clubs in the Balmain Tigers and Western Suburbs Magpies.
Those 2 great clubs were known for being staunch, sticking together and not back stabbing each other when times were tough.
Although I don’t 💯 agree, it’s a very valid point you raise.Even if it was you then have to question the due diligence taken when appointing him in the first place. The whole Sheens return to the club and the changing of his role is evidence of a board that can not set a strategic direction and stick to it.
