These guys cause the change. Everytime the fanbase becomes disgruntled, they move on players and sack the coach.

A review based on a petition that asked for something COMPLETELY different conducted by a guy with club connection prejudices and zero experience in football club administration interviewing podcasters and fans who also know nothing about running a football club will bring positive change?

The evidence i look for yourself at the petition's wording and then consider that the person conducting the review IS CONNECTED to the club.
You'll notice that not once have the architects of the mess stuck their heads up to explain why the review ISN'T independent.
All we get is half arsed attempts at humour.
They don't deal in truth.

If the petition had said "We propose a review conducted by a person who donates $100k to the club and as such has preexisting relationships with the people he's reviewing, and the review will interview uninformed fans and disgruntled players from the 80's" then I wouldn't have a problem

The guys behind the petition cannot answer how their proposed change will impact the current football operations team..
They read a post I made on here on their pod once about this issue, noted it was an issue and moved on.
It's not all rainbow and sunshine because they are undertaking this review.
I’ve read that it is believed Lee has been caught out to be the person who is leaking information to the media.
I have no idea if this is true or not and it could very well be coming from those who despise hi , but if it was proven as true I would agree he has to go as the media leaks have been a big part of our problem.
From your perspective and the others who are so adamant that both Lee and Justin need to be removed for the betterment of the club, who have you got in mind to replace them, can you be certain they will be an improvement and can you be certain it will not effect the current plan in place to do all we can to help Benji build a roster he’s happy with based on retaining all our best players, particularly our young emerging players ?

The bloke conducting the review may be the most honest person since Jesus was knocking around Nazareth. That's not the point.

In professional sports , being solvent and making money are 2 separate things . Teams like Liverpool right off 100m a year , but every year they grow in value to the tune of probably 5billion dollars value as of end of 23. How , you ask ?
Because they win shit , and in the playground of the filthy rich , they own teams for prestige , not profit . As long as the team value grows and they can cope with the losses financially they will continue to own it .
What does all that mean ? Why does the roosters with no merch sales , anda fraction of conventional revenue that we have , have a playing budget including TPAs of close to 15 million . Because Nick only cares about winning , he realises he will make his money back in the backend of a sale , if he ever wants to , and all that really matters is winning and being associated with excellence .
Our muppet board , just don’t want to shift their pokies revenue into the club . And we are solvent sure , but who cares when you’re coming 17th.
5-10 years ago Pascoe types and those thought like him , were desperately required to bring into the club . Because there was either dinosaurs on the board , the blazer wearing back in my day types , or completely driven to win at the expense of everything else types .
So he fixed our professes, streamlined everything , and turned us around financially . Cool . He’s done his job . Now let’s get a CEO/ board in who know how to win , not balance the spreadsheets .

The team has won 8 of their last 50 games …has back to back wooden spoons and is running back pretty much the same team in 2024 so they already have one hand on a trifecta…
The Tele is just trying to stir crap which happens regardless of what decisions get made… and nothing will change in until they start winning games and move off the foot of the ladder…. although it might help if our Senior Management didn’t leak like a sieve to these Jurnos…

All that should matter is the players in and outside the club, the coaches and headbof recruitment.
These guys are in charge for next 3 years so it should up to them.
Everyone else is white noise.

I don't know if lee and Pascoe should be removed, I have my opinion but that opinion is formed from the outside looking in and what we see in the media.
That is the reason the petition called for a review and not for the removal of people.
Thank you for assuming that I, a real fan, is a casualty of this review.
Just like your opinion of the petition, your comments have also made assumptions and statements that are false.
You have a right to an opinion, and are free to voice it, but do not make assumptions and lump everyone into in your comments, when you have no basis or evidence for proving them to be accurate.

That's ok, those people were invited to participate in the review as well.
Of course their opinions and observations will carry a lot of weight but you still need to speak with your customer when conducting a review.
