To me, centres like Staggs, Farnsworth and Mariner have that desire to win as well as x factor, You can see it in the way they play. We need to discover our own centres. Staggs is from Wellington, Farnsworth the UK, Mariner from NZ. They are out there but it has been a long time since the WTs have acquired an outstanding junior centre three quarter.

Yep the Sulli / Suli mix up was extremely frustrating 🤦‍♂️ and then Foxsports decided to give it a whirl as well

In addition to Best, the Tigers have also got their eye on Dragons back Moses Suli.

Suli had an up-and-down season for the struggling Dragons in 2023 but would be a decent pick-up for a team like the Tigers.

How can an average player, in a team running as poorly as we are, be considered as a good pick up for us? The Dragons are spoon favourites next season, despite us "winning" it two years running.

I read Smith has agreed to stay at the Roosters they just need to clear some roster spots - Think they were expecting Angus would go to Rugby but that looks to have stalled

This place used to have interesting discussion and engagement, even when we were losing. Its fast becoming clicks for cnuts.

True, but he is a large lad and was hard to stop when running with a full head of steam. Wouldn't cost the earth and had a bit of cult status happening.

Wonder how many will be around? Don't think Mr September will play much NRL next season. Mr November may have moved on (unfortunately). Interestingly, no Noffa.

Best is a great athlete. I don't know if he's a great player, but he's an outstanding athlete. I worry if the money is over the top for what he brings though.

The club just upgraded To'a, so he is clearly in the plans. Tupou looks in line for an upgrade too.

I think we need a consistent player or two to add to the squad- guys that you can trust to hold their assignments. I'm not sure the money spent on Best or Suli is wise.

Luai I get- great player. The Sullivan & Fainu signings make Luai questionable, I guess. BUT...he's a great talent.

If the club is willing to spend big on Best, I'd rather they spend big on Tass from Souths. He is the type of player we don't have out wide.

And, of course, Hymel Hunt.
