Juniors - Pathways General Discussion

I heard that 3 of the best Balmain locals coming through, Nassar, Conti & Langi had no intention to leave until they were forced out by Fulton. Fulton getting rid of players that have been at juniors since 5 years old happened at Manly now happening at Tigers.
3 of them are also NSW Union reps that are Balmain born & bred. The SG Ball sides have over 9 Manly players brought in. Not a good look forcing kids like this out of the club. Nasser had several clubs after him and wanted to stay at the Tigers. Both him and conti had their deals changed because of Fulton.

To be fair the players he has brought over are probably originally from our local jr area

Yeah, I agree Mace is definatly a kid to work with. Still young and still has a long way to go. There are heaps of young talented cubs coming through the junior pathways. Another kid to watch out for is Samuela Sorovi. He is named in the Harold Matts Squad. Fijian background 6ft, athletic, and very aggressive. Only 15 years old but doesn't look out of place competing with 17 year olds. Currently named in the Gen Blu under 15s Waraths squad as well. I am confident Bronson Harrison will keep a sharp eye out on all the cubs coming through.
With the structure of the new Cubs pathway program, I'm sure Bronson, coaches, and training staff will develop all the kids and take them to the next level.

Is Bronson involved with the club?

Can you prove what your saying it's easy to point the finger

Irrefutable proof. I know the dad's very well. Our sons have played together through their junior footy years. Also money is not at the forefront of issues for these kids and their families they love the club and the local area and are at the forefront of community issues supporting hundreds of kids in all sports.

Here is a link of Mikey Nasser, he got Best & Fairest for 2023 in Matts, 6"2 at 16 and has lightning speed. As well as being a Waratahs representative in union also. You can be the judge on the kid, you can see why so many clubs wanted to sign him, like I said in a previous post we will be talking about him like we did Ryan Papz in a couple of years.

Are you related to this guy or something? Lol this is like a @Jedi_Tiger obsession with Luke Brooks

Always going to be players moving on as they get closer to potential 1st grade opportunities. Particularly if players aren't willing to stick around for just SG ball/Flegg contracts and want development contracts or Top 30 guarantees (assuming this is the case with Conti and Nassar).

We have done a good job as a club identifying and retaining the majority of our young talent. The issue is now how we improve those players moving forward. Hoping Aaron Payne is a coach who will value the youth in the squad and provide them with opportunities to further their game. We did not get that at all this year.

No not related. My son is good mates with him and we have watched all these kids come through the grades at their local footy club. Seeing great kids that every rated in conti and langi it’s not good when they talk about our juniors being the future and we are losing them to other clubs.

This club only cares about Wests juniors.
Let him go and achieve glory in a proper setup.

Did I see him in a Holy X jumper in his video?
Whod they play for?
