Poor bloke. Unlucky for the Dogs. Hopefully he makes a return. As for Jeremy Marshall King he wasnt much chop when he left, was a slow burn at the Dogs and has turned into a decent starting 9. No way he is coming here to play understudy to Api.
I kinda think we’ve got the hooker position covered.Poor bloke. Unlucky for the Dogs. Hopefully he makes a return. As for Jeremy Marshall King he wasnt much chop when he left, was a slow burn at the Dogs and has turned into a decent starting 9. No way he is coming here to play understudy to Api.
And dwyer only ever had one... Comparing means nothingBenji had at least 3 so he'll be OK.
Excellent question C, very little info about Charlie since he got injured ( the second time).Anyone know if we re-signed Staines?
Wow T, sorry scoop, what a coincidence.Super coach ciraldo played as a 13 and he injured his neck.
Hate Gus and that Dud coach Ciraldo (trent Barrett 2.0). I really hope we make the climb up the ladder before they do. And they continue to “build within” and try sign anyone with a heartbeatWow T, sorry scoop, what a coincidence.
Maybe it’s a Canterbury curse ! 😆
Maybe Bellamy sent him a training plan to prepare him for move south ?Seems he's been in at concord Training a bit this off season....
Another reason he should be kept.
My concern with Bula is what I call second year syndrome. Whenever a new guy breaks into the top grade and gets the big bucks, his follow up season can be quite patchy, for a variety of reasons.I love Bula. Thought he was amazing this year, particular playing in a pretty poor backline. I loved his fitness and how his body stood up to a fair bit of attention. He's talented and I hope he will be a really good first grader and hopefully our long term fullback, but generational talent? That's a pretty high bar to jump.
I agree. Good sign is I thought he was targeted pretty heavily second half of last year and seemed to stand up to it. Don't think Nofo is the guy you want taking the heavy work off Bula.My concern with Bula is what I call second year syndrome. I think he’s going to get targeted a lot more this year and being lightly framed, hope he doesn’t get too much punishment.
Remember a similar thing happened to Teddy, who will ever forget Ryan James breaking his jaw at LO. Pleaded accidental but I was directly in line and believe me he had destruction in his eyes.
I hope Bula gets through ok and had another good year and puts my syndrome to bed.
We need both wingers working hard out of the back field to take some pressure off him.
If this was the Tigers they would absolutely cop it
You do realise that this phrase has been around for ages and you didn’t coin it?My concern with Bula is what I call second year syndrome. Whenever a new guy breaks into the top grade and gets the big bucks, his follow up season can be quite patchy, for a variety of reasons.
So, Hypothetical...I'm all in on Bula at 1, but if medical reports on Paps ankle are positive, he would be huge for us. Imagine Bula and Staines on the right, Toa and Tupou on the left, with Paps' speed and ball playing chiming into the backline? We could tear teams apart if our halves get it right.
Hey, he joined in 2022. What kind of standard do you expect from the poster here? You do realise that this phrase has been around for ages and you didn’t coin it?
You know when you hear something, but nobody reacts, even though it's blatantly weird or worthy of comment, and you question yourself? You do realise that this phrase has been around for ages and you didn’t coin it?
