Not sure how i feel about Luai, he is a class player but not sure about his game management ability. But i am starting to come around to him. If he has the desire to prove Cleary wrong then we are the right club for him.
I am pretty sure i am not the only fan that despises Ivan for the position he left us in.
And would love to rub it on his face.

Despise Ivan? As a Wests Tigers fan under Ivan was the last time I believed we could be a good team. Ivan is different. Dont know what it is. Just felt we had a chance.

Don’t understand the Stefano hate at all. Sure he isn’t one of the best props in the game as of yet, but he’s our best by far.
He isn’t potential anymore - we’ve seen him dominate packs on his own he just needs to work on consistency his still 23 he’s still growing into his body and learning the game. His performance this year got him a SOS debut so he must be doing something right.
Give this kid a full preseason with Benji as coach next year and a new promising halves combination in Seizer, Sullivan and Fainu - I believe he’ll take that step we’re all waiting for.
He’s a future captain candidate just wait for it.

Agree. Massive islander with good mobility, big motor and a good attitude. We are bloody lucky to have him and develop him. We can't hope for the finished product halfway through production.

Hasn’t dominated outside of a few runs here and there. I do rate him but you wouldn’t say that the team misses him that much when he’s out

I'm not sold on Stef becoming elite yet. Doesn't have mongrel in him yet, no opposition player would fear him.. Waerea Hargreaves, Fonua Blake, Paulo, Fisher Harris all instil fear into the opposition.

Stef is fine. Lad is yet to hit his straps.
On Luai, he's borderline special needs, living in Cleary's shadow, a big noting arrogant knobhead and he'd still walk backwards into our top 17.

Disagree I see him as an ultra competitive guy with natural talent. We have lacked that really hard nose player for a long time

Agree with you on Haas and Blake but yet to see it from Stefano.
He's been given chances to show it but apart from a few rare glimpses I'm far from convinced that he is anywhere near that dangerous category at this point in his career.
Maybe with consistent improvement through next season, an injury free run and taking into account his relatively young age he could get there around 2025.

Be interesting to see him come up against Penrith....

our props are all pretty tall and lean.
Fonua is more stocky / powerhouse type.
Good for mixing it up and keeping the opps guessing in defence as @batboy has pointed out before.
