Just like when we used to play "forcings back" at school or down at the park. Was great, you could play it with just 2 players or 200.

Lots of variations on what people called it but it was more or less along those lines.

Hope he is more successful than our last inspired Q-cup signing - Tony Pellow aka Cody Walker come again.

Tony Pellow...we signed him to a 2 year deal and released him within 3 months....what a great scout/signing....Wasn't he a Sheens/McDonald special!

I agree. I only get worried that a player so young has already been at a couple of clubs but now the WT Tigers media department is heralding him as a boom signing.

WT have said nothing about the kid. if anything there might be an aside in an article somewhere indicating we've signed him. the only coverage on the entire story has been from the Mole.

The the national champs last year for Under 16s the 100m was run in 11.05 seconds. If this kid runs that fast he should give up footy and run for Australia - funny he wasn't even in the race

Mikey Nasser is U17s and suffered a knee fracture this year playing for NSW CHS. He is friends with my son and definitely runs the 100m under 11secs. This was in the paper on Monday, Uncle Nick doesnt sign players to the Roosters that dont cut it. We cant sign them all but this will be another Ryan Papz we had him but lost him.

A huge coup for the Roosters, the fullback joins from Balmain, where he starred in the junior rep system over the past couple of seasons.

Likened to a Tom Turbo clone, the 16-year-old has all the makings of a future NRL star. Already 6’2 and as someone who can run 100m in less than 11 seconds, Nassar combines his athletic ability with an excellent kicking game and footwork to wreak absolute havoc on opposition defences.

Wests Tigers media would send out a press release to all media outlets. I have worked for Parramatta Eels over a decade ago, whenever a player was signed we would notify all the press database for it to fed into mainstream media.

Wests Tigers have added five players to the extended squad on train and trial contracts and released two players from the club's top-30.
