Bulldogs must be a massive chance if they have a serious offer. Gould has a way of getting what he wants. A real test for Benji - could be a defining moment but it's hard to believe.
Yeah he apparently wants utility playerd becausr hes got half a dozen of them.

Honestly if we cpuld get Luai id rather our roster way more then theres.

3x Premierships, Origin Rep and leading Samoa to a RLWC final is a safe resume.
He has nothing left to prove at Penrith. Take the money, support your family.
If he somehow manages to get the Tigers into the finals, he'd be the all-time GOAT (definitely not biased)
I see all the "experts" saying stay with a proven outfit, unlikely win a premiership elsewhere blah blah. What more does this guy have to achieve lol ? I'd 100% be taking the money at this point.
Couldn't agree more, why not help a club like us build in to something big and earn good marquee coin doing it. Here's hoping it happens and Api stays strong

I think he still has a bit to prove, but he won’t do it at Penrith. While ever he is there he will always be their Scotty Pippen.

If he has a genuine desire to prove himself as one of the best players in the game he is going to need to step out of Cleary’s shadow. If that’s his mentality he could be a great buy for us. If it’s a take the money and cash out attitude we might be in for more disappointment.

He could stay there and win 3-4 more comps and be regarded as an all-time great five eighth. The only reason he’ll leave is if they have already decided Nathan Cleary’s brother is the future in that spot.

Olam just doesn't excite me.
Not even really for this year, even if he's the best version of himself I don't know that he really moves the needle for us.
We lacked creation and danger out wide last year, Olam really doesn't offer that.
I don't know that he's cooked per say, he just don't offer heaps ball in hand apart from running straight and hard.
Does not excite me either. He had terrible reads in defense which showed up again in the finals series and that would be why he spent most of the latter part of the year in reserve grade. Bellamy is no fool.

I see a bloke who has been ultra consistent for 5 years and also won a comp, who had a rough year. If one rough year was the end of footy players our club wouldn’t have any players. Bellamy signed him up till 2026 too.

Our club being so poor for so long is a positive for a player who wants to prove themselves. I'm not even joking.

I think Toupou should eventually play centre, with one of the young wingers coming in, but Olam would be good for a couple of years.

I might even start Toupou and Toa in centres, with Staines and Nofo on wings. Toupou hasn’t filled me with confidence under the high ball
