You fundamentally don't understand what I'm saying.
A release does not mean you pay the player the full value of the contract.
Both parties can agree to terminate the contract. When players want to leave within a contract term, they must be granted a release.
Then they are free to sign whatever contract they like. It doesn't need to be for the same terms as the previous one.
both parties can agree to terminate the deal… but i don’t see it happening in this situation… Olam will be getting his three years at $600k
