I’m so FvCking Over this club treating players like this .. show some gotdamn loyalty for once .. amateurs .. Klem has been all in , totally professional on and off the field, our management needs to be “floated” FFS :. A contract is a contract and they need to stop leaking this crap, and to stop doing it .. we are a freaking laughing stock that never ever stops with the nonsense. I’m over it .. start acting like professionals with some ethics and integrity for gods sake !!! Klemmer is a tiger now and he should stay one !

The club wonders why it gets hammered in the media, if we’re trying to move Klemmer on 1 yr into a 3 +1 deal that is why. Klemmer has been solid for us hasn’t set the world on fire but I don’t think many expected him to.
Why would players want to come here, we’re only going to attract money grabbers and has beens and probably lose all our good juniors.

That’s because we’re not overly successful at it, the issue I have with it and it was the same with Joe O. It’s the fact we sign these players on long terms and try to move them on early in their contracts.

No, he was contracted till end of 24 and they are subsidising him considerably. This rumour is just crap.
Klemmer on 450k is a bargain. He was easily our best prop last season. Even then, his third season with us, when we are paying full freight is only 600k. Possibly overs by then but he's still a very solid player and if that's what it took to get him then so be it

You may not like his personality off of it , but he is an origin playing 5/8 in a team that has played the last 4 grand finals and won 3 of those so he cannnot be too bad.. you can claim it’s all Cleary if you need to but if he was no good then I’m sure they would put another player next to Nathan .. please do not let your own “feelings” guide your judgement about Jaromes actual football ability .. he is a gun, whether you like it or not

Twal was told how much we'd offer him to stay, we also told him he was free to check his value at other clubs too. Other clubs came in with the same bid as us, so he stayed.

Joffa yes, that was just stupid. Telling a fringe player line Blore that they're free to explore their options is common enough. Was never told her wasn't wanted.

Yes. The rest of the team was piss poor but Naden stood out. We were 0-6 and Api was there for all of the games? Is he suddenly shit as well?

Same negative people always saying the same crap whenever you try to make a point. We've won two wooden spoons in a row so suddenly any positive or hopeful point you try to make is null and void.

Naden was the worst player on the field for our win in Rd 8. I don’t recall seeing him much after that. Api kicked on and played well whenever he was available. I just state facts. Naden has been a major disappointment since his one good year at Panthers.

Fair comments TNK, but I’m not saying it’s all Cleary, what I say is that he tends to work well off other good cattle and don’t think we have a lot of those.
I’m just not sure he’s worth the money that’s being talked about.
But, as I always say, happy to be proven wrong if it helps the Tigers improve.
