I’m not a fan of these types of things, but I cannot stand the whiners who complain about it as well. I dislike both sides of the argument. I don’t think the EPL for example should be talking about a topic like that, but I don’t let it upset me. Some people don’t have enough hobbies.

This is the classic one. There is a post about being inclusive towards gay people and he posts that is disgusting.

So he went and got upset and posted homophobic comments. He went looking for it.

This wokeness that keeps getting mentioned irritates me as well. It's homophobia. It's got nothing to do with wokeness which I don't know what that even means. It's been considered discrimination for years and AD's reaction proves that heaps more is required. Your reaction is the same thing.

A bunch of drama queens.

Jimmy states "it's cool to be gay"
Bob states "that's disgusting".

So sad.

I’d rather know why he chose to be so vague. Was it to cover his arse when it was bound to come back at him? Not making any accusations, but if it was me making a comment like that, I’d have made what I meant a lot more clearer then just leaving it at two words that could be interpreted a lot of different ways. Instead of explaining what he meant afterwards, he should have just said in the post and save all the headaches. Sounds like an idiot who thought he was playing two dimensional chess when he was playing checkers.

I couldn't give a f*ck what he says....
Nor what he thinks.
But I don't have the job he has or get paid what he gets paid...

I can certainly see why the club / or game might take issue with it...

They're peddling the emergence of the NRLW - And to be frank,
The competition is full of same sex relationships.
The 2 competitions Players can't be united when it comes to getting paid, and days off
and not be united on inclusion.

That said, I don't think any minorities need any preferential treatment...
But I'm not offended by any either.
As long as you turn up and contribute to society... Pay your taxes like the rest of us....
You're good to go.
 
I'm not sure how this ranks highly compared to the many current and former NRL players committing domestic violence and some even worse.

He shouldn't have said it, delete the post and move on.

This is all in your head. No one was being dictated too. No one. It was a simple post trying to state let's be inclusive towards gay people and whatever other group fits into that category.

There is no need to be offended by it.

It seems strange. Nothing for years at the height of topic and then last 2 months a few posts. It’s like he just found social media recently, he is making everything public now or rehab is really getting to him.

Doubt we will know unless he snaps into his beliefs fully - seems for him to delete it = isn’t fully committed on his beliefs.

His first one was more outrage at kids at a school who wanted to go with their same sex partners. Who is he to judge anyone else ? If the kids are gay they are gay. Who cares ?

It's populism in action. Blame minorities for your life being crap. He probably is suffering because he realizes he isn't as good a footy player and he is definitely no leader. It's much harder to look at yourself then try and create a good life for yourself.

Rehab I’d say.
He is somewhat aware of public perception, thus the self censoring.
Seems a spur of the moment frustration. I would say he is quite aware his career is likely over.
Injuries are cruel.
