31st of October 2023 marks the 30th Anniversary of the day the Socceroos played Argentina at the Sydney Football Stadium in a two-leg tie for a place in the 1994 World Cup. One of the greatest players to ever grace the game, Diego Maradona made his return to the Argentinian Football team after retiring from international football after the 1990 World Cup Final. And he made his return to football in Sydney. Against the Socceroos.
