It’s not easy coming out publicly with this type of thing, so credit to you. Just know, most people you walk past on the street have demons in some form. So at least take comfort in the fact you aren’t alone.

Another terrible disease... I've very little knowledge on it other than having a neighbour once suffering from it... Meds made him better but awful side effects

I remember getting a letter from my Industry Super (A Big one) a while back, I don't remember it verbatim - But it was like... This is where we're headed type letter...

They estimated the retiring age would be 77 by time I got there, And they would release my super to me in a Pension type fashion at like 30k a year for the following 30 years.
I don't know if they were taking the piss or what....

Who knows what sort of Hooker and Crack habit I'll have when I'm 107,
Either way - Pretty sure $600 a week ain't gonna cover it by that time...

It’s now a couple of months on and just wondering how you are going ?
I’m sure everyone on this forum is hoping you are hangin in there.
And , if you are really struggling and need a stranger to offload on ( sometimes better than with someone you know) then feel free to post here or come direct.
I’m no expert but happy to just listen and maybe give you some thoughts accumulated by me over many decades in the school of hard knocks.

Thanks mate for checking in. My youngest brother passed away about 6 weeks ago, complications with alcohol. It’s been a shocking year. The worst. Brother that is hospital is doing poorly. I’m hanging in ok. Young family makes me smile. Can’t wait for 2024.

Let’s hope our beloved Tigers give us plenty to

Man ,some people don’t earn enough to save , nor are given the tools on how to in the first place . Not to mention , usually , they have a lower IQ so many of the higher paying jobs are simply out of reach for them .
That’s literally akin to the “stop eating avocado” out of touch , stupid statement.
Usually , we tend to lean on the side of agreeing , but that statement is just obtuse . For lack of a better word .
It’s not up to people who are more fortunate to shit on those , and thumb thier nose , at people who are less fortunate . This shit isn’t hunger games my man , if you’re not in district 1 , you’re a peasant .
I’m sure you’ve got a story to tell where you pulled yourself up , or many be you don’t and you’re a silver spoon type born on second base . I dunno , either way , a society is held together only as well as the lower parts of it are treated . The lack of compassion, by people drives me crazy .
Especially from people who either have forgotten where they came from , or have zero idea what it’s like in the first place .

You are talking to a guy here who raged about the Government helping small businesses during Covid lockdowns.
He doesn’t live in the real world.
