Spot on. This year we can blood some of the youmger players, get rid of the rubbish (Douhie,Naden,Nofo) and give Benji a year in the hot seatIt's just a BS opinion-piece.
I don't think Tigers have any intention at all of using Galvin as a bargaining chip. If we've already agreed to terms with Luai and he's kicking up a fuss at Panthers, that's for the Panthers to figure out.
Tigers have the much stronger hand at this time - we can afford to wait for Luai. That is where Mole is totally wrong, because Tigers are actually not that desperate in 2024. It's a rookie coach, new Board, new CEO, new roster - there's a lot of leeway to be given. Anything better than last is a strong improvement and with Luai incoming 2025 the fans know there is more optimism to come.
Considering the drama Tigers have had in the past with similar contracts - Taupau, Aloiai, Blake Austin etc. the incumbent side is often better served cutting their losses and granting a release. The main difference here is that Penrith are a premiership-winning side, i.e. it's proven that Luai is a component of their dominance, and it's pretty far into the offseason to be trying to figure out how to spend Luai's salary. They've also reportedly paid Luai a significant salary already this new season and might want to be compensated.
it will be the manager rattling the cage and wanting a release if he is not getting game time he knows he has a good thing. That is the worry"I've studied Galvin on video and he reminds me of Greg Alexander before he burst into first grade in the early 1980s or Nathan Cleary prior to finding fame and fortune at Penrith."
Suck up lol. This after Brandy told the media
that a swap with him & Klem was a flat
out lie & probably manager driven. It's crazy.
He's with us for another few years playing
footy with all his best mates from Matts
and high school. Tired of the rhetoric
That we're even considering swapping
him. We've a gem in our hands & we know it.
He'll lose half a million of that to tax and another 40 odd thousand to manager commission. Likely his take home is more around the 650K figure....just over 50K a month...nice.If he’s on 1.2 when he gets here, he’s going to be earning 100k a month. 50k a fortnight. It’s funny how you never really think about the money in those terms when all these figures get thrown around. Try to get your head around it. These dudes are swimming in it.

He and his family will appreciate having experienced halves in Sezer and Luai (as well as Marshall) at the club to guide him.Don't disagree with that. He'll get some
game time JT. Still with us for a few more
years...he's young, I'm confident we'll be
handling this in house and communicating
the above with his management & family.
Fresh out of high school, his time will come!
Skipped training for a second day haha.
what is he doing, wish he would just relax
and stay there for another year. Ivan or
some1 else must have got him completely
offside about something. Somethings up

If Lachlan Galvin delivers (on the paddock) at the level of 50% of the Incredible raps he is receiving from fans and the so called good judges, he will be a great addition to the Wests Tigers in the coming seasons. Any attempts to use him as bait for an immediate swap with Luai would expose the Tigers as suffering with severe visual impairment."I've studied Galvin on video and he reminds me of Greg Alexander before he burst into first grade in the early 1980s or Nathan Cleary prior to finding fame and fortune at Penrith."

No show Monday, not there today ... may require a sick note I’m guessing ...
It's all part of the process. 😉Skipped training for a second day haha.

Want the $$ & wants it now.Haha. He's not happy about something
I get the inkling. Penrith fans from what
I've seen have been gracious & understand
him chasing the bag. Players alike. It's
probably something to do with coaches/
management. It's anyone's guess really...
Yeah,Want the $$ & wants it now.
Can't blame him.
