Had a hell of a lot of haters on here, but his guy has always had the goods and played a real big part in helping Cleary achieving success, rather than the other way around.

But they've still filled most of their cap and have to spend at least a million on the last 9 playersBulldogs have only 21 contracted players for 25.
And they signed him for five years. Sheesh.Gotta luv Gus and Ciraldo's management.
Worse than anything we've had.
We really dodged a bullet missing out on Ciraldo........he's hopeless.
Whereas Benji has proven success?Gotta luv Gus and Ciraldo's management.

No he hasn’t, he will though.Whereas Benji has proven success?
So far Benji has only proven he has some sway to attract players. Good quality to have, but he’ll need results to make that aura stick. No he hasn’t, he will though.
Ciraldo is out of his depth, Barrett 2.0. Its great to see
You make it sound like Benji’s success is depended in many ways on the Luai deal? In the Betoota podcast Richo said Benji has x-factor and you need a few players to have that quality for the team to be successful. So far Benji has only proven he has some sway to attract players. Good quality to have, but he’ll need results to make that aura stick.
Absolutely you do. You need results too. We’re going to be in good shape come 25. Benji will have all the tools. You make it sound like Benji’s success is depended in many ways on the Luai deal? Like any coach Benji will need wins. Maybe I’m biased but I feel more than any other coach Benji will have more support (externally and internally) than other rookie coaches. Benji’s advantage comes from the way he played the game and post footy (media/ reality TV ect) people already have a good understanding of how he operates and feel they know the character of the man. Agree Head coaches need Results though. So far Benji has only proven he has some sway to attract players. Good quality to have, but he’ll need results to make that aura stick.
The podcast was light hearted but Richo certainly opened up on his thoughts about the players and coach. You make it sound like Benji’s success is depended in many ways on the Luai deal? 100%. But if he fails just like others have, I hope we don't have that added 'leniency' just because he's a club legend. We have to hold standards for everyoneWas not a fan of the Sheens/ Marshall appointments.
Am; however, now warming to it a little more with possible recruitment/ change in board.
Ingredients are in the bowl but proof is in the pudding. Willing to give him this year to see what happens. Would be very happy to see him and the club be more successful.
If he fails, I won‘t blame him, how could you? The blame would lie squarely on Lee and Pascoe. And Sheens.100%. But if he fails just like others have, I hope we don't have that added 'leniency' just because he's a club legend. We have to hold standards for everyone
It does lie to some degree on Lee and Pascoe but Benji is also accountable - he put his hand up for the gig.If he fails, I won‘t blame him, how could you? The blame would lie squarely on Lee and Pascoe. And Sheens.
My mantra for 24 and beyond if it goes arse up is that you don’t scold a toddler for asking for the car keys and then writing the car off as he’s pulling out of the driveway. It does lie to some degree on Lee and Pascoe but Benji is also accountable - he put his hand up for the gig.
It would be about time.He did the same presentation to the Warriors as well he is getting around the teams mad Broncos fan but he believes the Warriors will go all the way in 24 said they are so confident
I very much doubt that he would think. Pretty sure he’d know either way. It’s been a formality for weeks now.So Richo thinks Luai has signed for us, but maybe he isn't as close to the club as the many doubting Thomas' of the forum.
