No fan wouldn’t want an established coach at the helm.
Having said that, being our greatest son, Benji has the hearts of the fanbase, so if we had a choice to see growth and success under anyone, it would be him.
We are all gunning for you Benji!

The most entertaining posts have been the Gould disciples who've bought into the Gould the recruitment guru/ genius mantra and peed themselves when he posted a photo a mystery dinner at a restaurant.
The recruitment genius who's signed every piece of recycled garbage from the country's junkyards plus one weak gutted dog. The Svengali who could convince Luai to backflip just with the offer of a plate of honey chicken.

He knew what he was doing with that pic

Then there's the kiddies on here that think it's like kindergarten when you want to hang around with your best friends at little lunch. The Bulldogs have more of his friends than us so surely he wants to play there.
It's comedy gold.

Was not a fan of the Sheens/ Marshall appointments.
Am; however, now warming to it a little more with possible recruitment/ change in board.
Ingredients are in the bowl but proof is in the pudding. Willing to give him this year to see what happens. Would be very happy to see him and the club be more successful.
Unfortunately a new board won’t make tackles or score tries.
It’s up to Benji to try and extract the most from what he’s got, especially in the halves and other backs. Then it’s over to the players, as it always is.
I just hope they are really angry about the last 2 seasons and show some real starch and desire.
It really hasn’t been evident for a long time. As I heard Richo say last night, the big thing about footy is emotion, you just gotta have it .
My fingers are crossed in anticipation of some significant improvement in 24.

Hair of the dog this morning. Go hard son.

My mantra for 24 and beyond if it goes arse up is that you don’t scold a toddler for asking for the car keys and then writing the car off as he’s pulling out of the driveway.
I'm willing to give Benji all of 2024 to prove himself (give the juniors good game time and don't finish last). By 2025, with hopefully a few quality signings we can finish near or in the 8

But benji isn't a toddler. A better comparison would be asking a 38 year old that's never driven to drive a car.
They know the risks they are taking.

When you see your self as a professional athlete.
Do you really need to join your best mates so you’re motivated to do your job?
