I’m sure Benji doesn’t tell some of our players to play like pussies and play soft.
For us to move forward we need to take a hard stance and drop anyone who plays soft no matter who they are.

Any NRL player, particularly a forward who refuses to run the ball hard is soft, no excuses.

There’s no training right now. Everyone is on leave due to the holidays. Think training resumes after next week or the week after that.

I’m sure we cut Bateman some slack and I’m okay with that because it’s obvious the guy gives his all every single game. In saying that he missed last off-season completely and didn’t start the first month. Hopefully he gets two months training in with the boys before rd 2. We’ll need him near his best.

He was very error prone last year I agree. He’s a winner in a bad team trying to make something happen. His form for England was very encouraging.
