I think Staines probably has one side locked up
Yeah we extended his stay he is a lock on the right side. Lobb/Tupou/Naden are left side players.

DAF, typically favours the stronger sides with top halves, with the weak getting weaker.Yeah we extended his stay he is a lock on the right side. Lobb/Tupou/Naden are left side players.
We definitely want him back fit and firing so he can play in either first or reserve grade and/or be available to offload mid year if we want/need to.Nobody is saying anything about it- but I think it's great to see Doueihi running at training.
I just don't understand why the fans are so offside with him. Seems to love the club, talented. He just WASN'T the 5/8 that a few coaches thought he would be (although, you have to wonder if he was in any position to succeed with the options around him..)
For mine- he's probably our most talented & damaging outside back.
I really hope he comes back fit & slots out into the centres.
Cold hard facts. He’s injured all the time and doesn’t know what position he is.Nobody is saying anything about it- but I think it's great to see Doueihi running at training.

Does anyone know if he’s bulked up at all and is there any plans to potentially see how he goes as a lock or back rower ?Nobody is saying anything about it- but I think it's great to see Doueihi running at training.

There’s no room for him. His path is blocked in the halves and at fullback. And there’s only one centre spot availableI just don't understand why the fans are so offside with him.
He’s fallen into the same trap Mbye did. Being a utility is one thing, it’s another to take it so far that you have no identity.Cold hard facts. He’s injured all the time and doesn’t know what position he is.
Seems like a decent guy.
He was also signed as a “fake marquee” on overs at a time we couldn’t attract a big name. Realistically he’s an average Joe with an injury history. He’s fallen into the same trap Mbye did. Being a utility is one thing, it’s another to take it so far that you have no identity.
We’d just missed out on Trell so the club was desperate for some good press. The fact he was a Tigers junior made it a feel good story. I feel sorry for him, because he’s been dealt a bad hand. But sometimes the games does that to you.He was also signed as a “fake marquee” on overs at a time we couldn’t attract a big name. Realistically he’s an average Joe with an injury history.
Adam has had a lot of opportunities at multiple positions to prove his worth. He was very lucky to get a contract extension.Nobody is saying anything about it- but I think it's great to see Doueihi running at training.

Yep. That sort of reactionary decision making nearly drove me around the bend mate. Better times ahead. If Doueihi comes back I’d back him to compete for a centre position amongst our current options but he’s up against it.We’d just missed out on Trell so the club was desperate for some good press. It’s going to be a huge comeback after 2 major injuries. I think we’re all just unsure if his confidence will be shot. If he is retained I think you can be assured it will be as a centre and/or back up full back only.Nobody is saying anything about it- but I think it's great to see Doueihi running at training.

he's soft. he has been shocking defensively for years and doesn't show any inclination to put his body on the line.Nobody is saying anything about it- but I think it's great to see Doueihi running at training.

Sounds like a bit of fibroIn the NFL the Detroit Lions have embraced a culture called Grit this year and are now a fair chance to go to the superbowl. Everything about the team screams toughness. Their coach reminds me a bit of Madge but it seems his young players have bought in.
18th man…he's soft. he has been shocking defensively for years and doesn't show any inclination to put his body on the line.
he has the attacking skillset, but the issue now is coming back from a third ACL. we're stacked in the halves, he probably isn't quick enough to play in the centres and he's too soft for the back row or the middle. Richo does seem to rate him so I wouldn't be surprised to see him retained, but I'm not sure there's a position available for him anymore.

Chad...no one hates Doueihi. The fans just watch his games and prefer he missed tackles with another club.90% of the responses pretty much back up what I asked- what has he done to get the fanbase so offside?
I think expectation has been the biggest crime here- and that came mostly from....the fanbase. To the point where I suspect a number of exaggerated false arguments are raised- like his 'horrendous defence' as I've seen mentioned, or his 'lack of physicality'.
Same people that got stuck into Adam about not being physical enough praised Charlie Staines for being a rag doll for that Warriors winger.
AD showed some improved defence in the world cup then came back and showed nothing in the club games.he's soft. he has been shocking defensively for years and doesn't show any inclination to put his body on the line.
