Taking a leaf out of old Wayne’s book.It makes me wonder if he’s going to be a figurehead, and the guy really driving the car will be Morris.

Scumbag who put results above the health of his players. One good thing has come out of him returning to coaching though. No more of his droning in the commentary box. He’s as boring as bat shit.He certainly is knowledgeable about football but i dislike him and don't trust him at all,not just because of the illegal drugs in his players but after being suspended from coaching he still coached the same team but was doing it while being banned. If anyone should have been suspended for life it was him.
The most disgusting man in football imho
I think people underestimate the effect that Morris will have on the team. Benji started his apprenticeship with Bennett and I am sure one thing he learned from him was to make the most use out of the assistant coach as possible. It makes me wonder if he’s going to be a figurehead, and the guy really driving the car will be Morris.
Someone said the other day that Flanagan wouldn't be dumb enough to take on Nofas' contract. All they would have to do is listen to a half of footy that he commentated on to change that opinion real quick.Scumbag who put results above the health of his players. He’s the most uninteresting, uncharismatic commentator I think I ever listened to. I shit on Blocker all the time, but at least he has personality. Flanagan is as engaging as unbuttered toast.Someone said the other day that Flanagan wouldn't be dumb enough to take on Nofas' contract. I don't really like Flanagan (and I admit I dont actually know the facts) but I feel he gets a disproportionate amount of blame for the peptides scandal.Scumbag who put results above the health of his players. I don't believe it will be allowed to blow over unless Nofoaluma has met the standard required by the coaching staff. This was imo the most important issue in the article -That’s the second article posted about this this afternoon. And both from a month ago. Theres nothing new regarding this. For all we know, it’s all blown over.
Playing his son in the team was always the plan. Not a mistake for him. A mistake for the DragonsFlanagan's first mistake.
Maybe we all know flano junior has been shit till now. But maybe under his dad he will find his way, stranger things have happened.Playing his son in the team was always the plan. Not a mistake for him. A mistake for the Dragons
Nope. He’s terrible.Maybe we all know flano junior has been shit till now. But maybe under his dad he will find his way, stranger things have happened.
Sounds like you want Sheens backI want to see us playing attacking footy , that means , playing out the back , bring back the old run arounds , little kicks in behind, and that great move last year against the cowboys when Bateman scored , this is the only way we will win games , u can’t win playing one out hit ups then kicking
In one word NOSounds like you want Sheens back
Says who?But he was matured and his body was FG ready. Galvin’s isn’t.
I find Michael Ennis overzealous and embarrassing. He’s the most uninteresting, uncharismatic commentator I think I ever listened to. I shit on Blocker all the time, but at least he has personality. Flanagan is as engaging as unbuttered toast.
Agreed. It’s like watching Daniel Mortimer. Anyone who think he was good is automatically banned from commenting on this forum as you clearly have no idea. He was pretty much Luke Brooks before Luke Brooks.Nope. He’s terrible.
Very well argued and I support each point raised.I don't really like Flanagan (and I admit I dont actually know the facts) but I feel he gets a disproportionate amount of blame for the peptides scandal.
The way it was reported if I recall correctly is he let Dank control the (illegal) supplements program. I don't think this would be too different to what any other coach would do. They would put faith in the bloke qualified to run that program because I guarantee no NRL coach would be qualified to do so themselves. He was made aware that something dodgy was going on and shut down the program and Dank was dismissed early.
So to this point it Flanagan's only fault is not directly overseeing a program that he would not be qualified to have any input in. Then he actually done the right thing in stopping it.
It could be argued that he should have reported that something untoward had happened to higher ups at both the club and NRL. But given he had already stopped the program what really is to be gained by doing so?
I agree with criticism for not complying with the stipulations of his ban. I also feel he was largely responsible for cap breaches at Cronulla and have just found him generally unlikeable in his media roles.
Everything about Ennis is fake. From his enthusiasm to his plastic Ken Doll looking face.I find Michael Ennis overzealous and embarrassing.
Mmmmm…
How about Jaxon Paulo being crucified by commentators for not catching two of the most mis-targeted - over-thrown Latrell Mitchell passes I have seen?I heard Sterlo whinge about a player missing a catch after the ball hit his ankles and bounced into touch. I needed a Bex.
