And I look at it as it may have been wrong to force voting upon the aborigines that lived remotely and would have found it logistically difficult to get to a polling station back then.
The inclusion of them in the voting process was enough to show fairness and "inclusivity". Those that want to have a say were perfectly entitled to.
Forcing the rest of them to was probably more of a problem than a solution.
