He was doing it last year as well, I didn't see many results from it....

I reckon it's the perfect way of getting them to practice defending against an old slow halfback....
Not many of those getting around on game day though.

whatever Sheens wanted, he gets the opportunity
2 implement whatever he sees fit, should go ok.
With his own player personnel as well

Having him run around & giving examples is
better than having a coach 30m away yelling
them out that's 4 sure. Anyway yeah, hope they

A coach who can demonstrate what he’s asking his players to do is a big advantage.
Time will tell, but I’m very confident we have a coaching staff that is very up to date with the modern day methods and know how it feels as a player when it’s going good or bad, which should only help in their management of the playing group.

Also pretty laughable to think Doueihi might get any gametime this season. He'll pay 7-8 NSW cup games at most before being released at the end of the season. He is not part of the clubs future.

Firstly what hype? Seyfarth has zero hype about him.

Secpndly, I question your definition of "solid". If Seyfarth has played 50 games, he has been solid in at least 40. Solid is exactly what he has provided, now he may get the chance to actually play how he is supposed to.

People need to be careful about this obsession with ball playing locks when it comes to converting halves into the role. If you have a look at all the big games, semi finals, grand finals and Origins, the influence of the lock link man is very minimal. They are great in helping you win enough games to get to the finals, but once the speed of the game goes up a notch, they don't have the time to have that influence. So it's important that the 13 can then adapt and play hard and tough. That's what Murray and Yeo do well. Big ask for a young 5/8 to do that.

He's really yet to have a solid run of games.... Yet to play 50

He'll crack the 50 that according to Sheens makes him. A first grader... He is coming along, slowly improving... Hopefully this year he plays most of the season and continues that upward spiral, I saw some good attitude and aggression in him last year which was different ... I like the sound of the lock role... But time will tell I wish him well

Although it helps, size is not a determining factor on whether or not someone can play or not, have a look at Reuben Cotter as an example.
As discussed in the past, being short, unfit and slowish is certainly an issue., the same as being big, unfit and lazy is an issue.
If you have inside information that Doueihi won’t get any NRL game time then fair enough, my view is if he got back to somewhere near his best he would certainly be an asset.
Moving forward the 2025 and beyond, he would highly unlikely command the same money he’s been earning over the past few seasons.

It's much easier to play for a long time when you are always 3rd man in on tackles and scarcely ever run the ball. Api makes more 1v1 tackles per game than Smith did in his entire career.

Snide is correct, it happened when Moltzen passed him the ball on a kick return in the clip. I've never forgiven Moltzen, even though it's a normal tactic for the smaller fullback to give it to the big winger to run back, still blame him.

Galvin should play 5/8 or centre as he serves his apprenticeship. Clubs were chasing him as a 5/8 not a forward. He could play centre as many great 5/8s over the years have done including Laurie Daley, Brett Kenny, Brad Fittler, Ben Ikin, Trent Barrett.

I see the vision with Galvin but the kid does his best work on the edges. I have seen him demoralise the fourth and third man time and time and time again and rarely does he ever take the wrong option.

to put him in the middle takes away his best asset, forces him to make double the tackles and blocks Laulili’i’s path. I like your thinking but ultimately I think the left edge is his spot. whether it’s at 6 or 12 is up to our coaching staff.

yeah, centre could work too. he's more Wade Graham than he is Brad Fittler personally. he could do a job at 13 or in the centres but 5/8 and back-row is where he should be. his ability to pick apart opposition defences is world class, probably why he's in contention for a first grade debut despite not being capped at Flegg level.

Agree on Galvin just don’t see him in the forwards anytime soon.

AD it’s up to him to actually own a spot that isn’t in the halves. It’s clear we have moved on from him in the halves. To be fair he looks like he has rehabbed very well wouldn’t surprise me if he hits the footy field before mid year. He can add value for the right price to the squad especially if he had improved his defence efforts/decisions.
